Only 2 things, which are not about the place itself but rather about the operational part. First, the payment. They apparently had for quite some time already problems with their card reader provider. Foreign CC were either not accepted or would allow only dollar transactions, which meant for us that we had to pay double exchange fees (and wasted time trying different cards until they told us that it’s a known problem). Now, if we would have known it before, we would have payed through booking or had enough cash. Second problem was the payment for the dinner. When they offered, they shared the price for the dinner. The price was, as expected, higher than the (good) restaurants but absolutely ok. However, when we were paying at the end of our stay, it turned out that they charged each drink, including water on top of the dinner price. Which would have been ok if they would have shared this info prior. The thing is that it was a communal dinner for all their guests sitting together at one table. So when everyone asked for water, they brought a bottle for 3 couples and charged each couple for the same water bottle (we asked the others). We are not talking about a lot of money, just the action left a bitter aftertaste…

Cute rustic B&B, furnished with love to details, a green oasis. The location is good, I’m walking distance to Taj Mahal, other destinations can be reached by metro (quite a walk) or with a rickshaw. Difficult to get a taxi, as it is located in old city where cars are o supposed to be banned.opted for the dinner, which was good. The staff was very nice to take into account my allergy.

The coral tree boutique homestay offered a brilliant base to see the Taj Mahal. A very short walk to the East Gate which made going for sunrise very easy. We enjoyed the garden and the home cooked meal was incredible !

Fantastic value for money!

It’s just beautifully done up, very cool colours and interior! The garden is beautiful! At a walking distance from the taj mahal. We had dinner the first night and the food was excellent! A shoutout to the boy who is doing some chores around the property. Such a lovely person with a great smile and energy. He even saved me from some cheeky monkeys hanging around the property:)

The homestay was very comfortable - both in the room and in the garden. The food was very tasty and readily available - we arrrived at 2pm and hadn't booked ahead, but they had enough for us. The proximity to the Taj is a real bonus. I had expected the walk to it to be rather hasslesome but we really enjoyed it. The hosts also arranged a driver for us to go to Delhi the next day including stopping for some sight seeing.

The hosts and staff were just wonderful. Everyone was so helpful. The room was spacious, clean and had a lovely area to sit outside surrounded by the garden. I went on a delightful walk with Gopal birdwatching.

We had a great stay at the Coral Tree - the location is perfect, the food was so tasty and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was big and the shower was hot and powerful, just the way we like it! Walking distance to the Taj Mahal and a short taxi ride to other attractions like the Agra Fort, we would definitely stay at the Coral Tree again if we return to Agra

Pillows were a bit hard

Lovely accommodation in a quiet part of Agra but easy walking distance (15 mins) to the Taj Mahal along a quiet-ish road. Gorgeous peaceful garden to relax in after sightseeing. Clean comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast. Especially enjoyed the masala chai. Very kind and accommodating staff. We left very early so they packed us up a breakfast picnic for the train and took care to include some items for the children (jam sandwiches and biscuits) as they had noticed that they were not very adventurous eaters!

A beautiful place to stay, offering a tranquil oasis from the hustle and bustle of Agra. Rooms were spotless, food was delicious, and the building and gardens is a really lovely place to sit and relax. It took us about ten minutes to walk to the East gate. Highly recommend!

We loved everything about this homestay. It was our first accommodation in India managed by a woman and we could see the difference 😀 This place with its luxurious garden is like a small paradise in the middle of a very crowded Agra. It is only 15 minutes walking distance from Taj Mahal. The food was excellent and the staff working there lovely. Last but not least, we fell in love Wasabi, the cat of the family ❤️
