The restaurant was good but the chicken curry was undercooked and we had to send back. The staff were very understanding and didnt charge for that dish, and asked us to come back for dinner so that they could make it up.

Great location with a lovely park just down the road and nearby to several Delhi attractions, e.g., National Museum.

The first room we were given was in the middle of a construction area with workers painting the corridor outside the room, the carpets removed and loud hammering noise in the next door room. We complained about the smell of the paint and noise and were moved to another room. Was very disappointed that they even thought about housing guests in the middle of a construction area.

    • Unfortunately, the room I stayed in was a bit disappointing. It felt damp and lacked ventilation and now shower just bath which I felt a bit older. • There was no window, which made it feel quite enclosed and dark. • The room could definitely be improved to match the quality of the rest of the hotel.

    • The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to get around the city. • The airport pick-up service was very smooth, and I appreciated the efficient transport by driver Amit. • The overall property is quite nice, with a charming ambiance. • Dinner was a highlight! There’s a wide variety of options, with plenty of delicious Indian dishes, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.

A room with no window - however I wanted to sleep to get over jet lag so not a huge issue. If I had been staying there longer than 1 night, I would have asked to change rooms.

    All very 'genteel'...

All was good but it would be interesting to have some printed or displayed info about the hotel’s history and the provenance and background of the art work

I loved the feeling of history, the decorative features and artworks around the building - in the halls and rooms. The staff were exemplary - so sweet, attentive and helpful. The pool, gym and spa great. Good choice of places to eat. Good breakfast buffet. my room was charming. And the hotel location very central and pleasant

There was quite a bit of noisy renovation work happening so sitting by or being in the pool was disturbed by hammer drill noises as was my room. To their credit, when I flagged the noise in my room, the staff were able to quieten down what was happening (I guess proximity to where I was)

The food, the staff, the rooms and the style and decor are all fantastic.

A nice hotel, food & drink rather over-priced.

Food & drink rather expensive eg about £20 for breakfast for 1 person once taxes included. It was a very nice breakfast....but pricey!! We were a bit unhappy that 2 small children were allowed to race around the restaurant, playing chase, while we were having an evening meal (at a middle table). Their parents (who were not even eating in the restaurant) allowed them to do this 3 times over a 30 minute period & staff did not try to stop them hntil i complained (the waiter seemed to think it was funny!) I would not expect this to be allowed to happen in a hotel / restaurant of this calibre and reputation where guests want to relax and enjoy their evening meal.

A lovely hotel, nicely furnished, very comfortable, great food, lovely swimming pool. Location was good, only a short tuk-tuk or taxi ride to Connaught Place for bars & restaurants INR200 in tuk-tuk, a bit more in taxi. Next door to Gandhi Smriti museum.

The pool was closed for a private party on Holi festival which was very disappointing as as the staff pointed out, everything is closed and there’s not a lot to do in the city and it’s also not safe for tourists on the day. We were not happy at paying full price for a room and basically having the facilities rented out to non guests so we couldn’t use them. We should have been told about this so I could make alternative arrangements and at least offered a discount.

Really good location, walking distance to lodhi gardens and not far in a car to the main sites. The hotel also has an excellent concierge service which was really helpful for getting around the city. We were picked up from the airport by a driver called Amit and also did a day tour of the city with a guide and driver called Surender. They were both excellent, safe drivers, knew their way around and spoke good English and really made the trip more enjoyable

Unfortunately one dinner reservation and our airport departure car booking, both done through the front desk, got lost in the system!! A little embarrassing and frustrating but both were overcome.

A great 5-star hotel where service is top priority. Lovely surrounds and close to tourist sights. The food at the hotel was very enjoyable also. While the heritage room was a little small, it was well provisioned. We would definitely stay again.

I didn't appreciate the hotel reception: a too long waiting to have the room, nothing to drink offered in the meanwhile, the extra bed booked not ready on arrival. I was very upset that during Sunday 24th March the pool was unusable all day long "because of a private party" and the indoor pool was closed too "because it was Holi day"! I complained at the reception desk that I was supposed to be informed at the moment of our booking or at least some days prior our arrival, I paid for these services and I didn't get any previous information neither a discount!

Breakfast: excellent, the best I experienced in India, as quality and service Room: very big and comfortable, bathroom a little bit old The restaurants are excellent, very elegant and with good service and menu The inside is wonderful, rich in fresh flowers, cared for in detail The location is very good

The staff, from airport transfer, checkin and Pickwicks restaurant, poolside breakfast etc. the food at Pickwicks was exceptional and so was the service.
