The property is well manged, very clean and tidy, excellent housekeeping team who pampered us with small gestures in the room, dining team is great, food is fantastic, just like home, pool is the highlight, security is wonderful . The front desk is great, special mention of Mr. Shalender Singh, Manger, and his team of Shristi, Shabnam, Divya etc. Love to come again when in Goa...........

There were some hiccups by front office on one first and the last day but it was taken care.

My family and I recently celebrated our daughter's first birthday at Astor Hotel in Goa, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the staff, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was unforgettable. Accommodation: The room we stayed in was spacious, elegantly furnished, and offered a kitchen setup which was really helpful. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and amenities like complimentary mini-bar & snacks, crib for baby and beautiful tent setup made our stay even more convenient. Birthday Celebration: The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly our daughter's first birthday celebration. The hotel's housekeeping and f&b team did an outstanding job organizing everything at a very short notice. The surprise decoration was tasteful and beautifully done, with balloons, pictures, lights, and a personalized birthday cake that exceeded our expectations both in appearance and taste. Food and Dining Experience: We indulged in a variety of cuisines at the hotel's restaurant, and each meal was a delightful experience. The breakfast buffet was extensive, offering both local delicacies and international dishes. The quality of food was top-notch, and the presentation was impeccable. For the infants they all so offer complimentary warm milk and baby food which our baby loved it. They also offer chef table experience for guests staying for longer period unfortunately we missed it as head chef was unwell during that time. Facilities and Activities: Astor Hotel offers a range of facilities that cater to every guest's needs. We enjoyed lounging by the pool, which was clean and well-maintained, and took advantage of the spa services for some much-needed relaxation. The hotel's close proximity to the beach along with complimentary pick up and drop to the nearest beach and market allowed us to enjoy long walks along the shore, adding to the overall charm of our stay.

A. The guy (with moustache and a protruding belly, he wore a cap always) who is responsible for the swimming area is racist. He is extremely polite to foreigners and would wish them good morning etc. with a smiling face and not ask them what's their room number. During our stay for 3 days, while we were using our pool he approached us, did't wish event once and just asked what is our room number, in a rude tone. I lost my cool the third time and asked him about his name and who he was etc. I gave him the look that he deserved that's it. He is almost a disgrace to your staff quality. Please train him well or replace him. B. The quality and the taste of the food, especially the dinner/lunch can be better. We had ordered some fish, chicken, kulchas etc on one night but the taste was below average.

I really liked the location of the venue that is not on the busy street of Candolim area. I like the fact that the management has made best us of available space and try to provide all important amenities. 99% of the staff are kind and helpful. The suites are very spacious, kids friendly and nicely done. The breakfast menu was good. Really hope all these things remains as it even when the property gets older. Two people I would like to mention are Bapi at the front desk and Amandeep in the F&B section. Both of them are very kind, helpful and always smiling.

It's a very good property. Clean rooms , co operative staff, delicious food, wonderful ambience. A good location closer to the candolim beach. Candolim is a lovely place to stay.

Exhaust fan was not working, can have some more play areas/indoor play room for kids.

Break fast and service was awesome. It was amazing experience for us when the Culinary team even asked our choices and recommended various options with individual care. Also the facilities within the room like chain lock, sofa cum bed, the Minibar which is not chargeable, place to hang wet cloths all looked like the team has thought a lot from customer point of view. Gym is also really nice. Even they had given Early checkin since we reached early which really gives customer focus.

Well maintained and fantastic service. Didn’t get the rooms I had booked due to communication error between Booking.com and the hotel. Had booked pool facing rooms but got city facing ones. Didn’t get the welcome drink but the restaurant staff the chefs and the staff were excellent!!! Special shout of of thanks to chef dave and his team!!

Even if I think hard I just can't find any reason to point out a thing that I didn't like about them

Hospitality is par excellence! The kitchen team oh my goodness... They are always on their toes to ensure that your palate and your tummy both are satiated. Special mention of Ms Divyanshi, the way she interacted with the kids and explaining to them that food wastage is not cool in her own subtle way won my heart... Their buggy rides to and from the nearest beach and market are big stride taken in the business... All in all a big hi-5 to the entire team... I just can't wait to go back again

I think the only thing they could do more with is the spa. I would suggest having the spa staff or even bar staff by the pool and encouraging use of the great offers they have available. I tried to book a couple of times but didn't get the treatment in the end I think just due to comms. Everything else was absolutely excellent!

The hotel was well equipped, spotlessly clean, great location, very central, beautiful surroundings. The hosts were amazing and operate as a high performing team and it's great to see! The high point was the chefs table! Every morning at breakfast the team couldn't do enough for you and we were ready to try everything!😊

Access to the hotel is through narrow winding roads with a lot of construction going on alongside them.

The staff was exceptionally efficient and helpful. The buffet breakfast was sumptuous with many choices. The a la carte menu was very good too.
