Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

IndiaI booked a room at S4Residency online through Booking.com stating my stay would be from 27 OCT 2022, 11 PM (Check-in) to 28 OCT 2022 (Check-out). But once I reached the place on the said time (27 OCT 2022, 11 PM), the staff said that I will have to checkout by 28 OCT 2022, 11 AM and not by 11 PM. I told the staff my booking was till 11 PM but that was not accepted till the end. They said if we book online the stay would be calculated for 12 hours only not 24 hours and this was no-where mentioned in their policy while booking. When asked for staying till 5 PM they asked to pay the amount for the next 24 hour stay which was pointless as I would have completed my work by 3 PM and planned to leave by 5 PM or 6 PM. I am not sure if this the policy for online booking or if I was cheated on. So I was disappointed when I came to know about this only when I reached the place and not before-hand.

My wife and I recently attempted to book a stay at S4 Residency through Booking.com, but we were met with several questions and issues that made the process confusing and frustrating. Be careful before booking Rooms are AC , The Take Extra Money 500Rs for AC switch on , The Asking proof of Marriage , I am shocked the Question, I am shouting No Rights ask marriage proof for anyone pls check Adhaar showing my Name’s in my wife Adhaar then the allowed to Room ! Worst Experience !

IndiaThe person at the reception( male) was very rude.He even asked us to leave,when we took sometime to produce the booking confirmation mail.Im not sure if he was the receptionist or the manager.But we were shocked by his impudence. Besides the toilet was not clean and the room was not spacious hence not worth the money, so we left the hotel.
There was nothing to like about except the location.

IndiaRoom was unhygienic,bathroom taps,faucet were untidy had dark black stains on it,jugs and glasses used to store water was not clean,AC was not effective.Requested for an early check in through booking.com i was promised I won't be charged if rooms were available still i was forced to pay extra.No professionalism on the front office.Not worth for the price,no lift in the property had to carry baggage from second floor through the stairs.No parking available.I paid more than 2K for staying hardly few hrs n room and not even bottled water was provided as an compliment,they were providing water from RO plant.
