It was very clean, the rooms were nicely set and with nets on the windows to prevent mosquitoes (a really important thing in India), the staff was very kind and willing to help all the time, the food was spectacular, and the rooftop area was a very nice to chill out . Also it is located on walking distance to most touristic places to visit in Udaipur.

My family and I recently stayed at this hotel for 4 days, and it was an amazing experience! The location is unbeatable—close to all the main attractions, making it incredibly convenient to explore the area. The food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of options that pleased everyone in our group. We looked forward to every meal! The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment after a day of sightseeing. The attention to cleanliness and detail really stood out. It was a very pleasant stay in Krishna Stay Udaipur. As a group of three friends, we spent a total of 3 days and 2 nights here. Raj and his staff were friendly, the room was clean and with a good view. They allowed us to stay in the rooftop even after check-out time, where we were able to enjoy the sunset and get ready for the night train journey. Highly recommend for staing in the old city of Udaipur, 2 minutes from the lake and 5 minutes from the market.

Cash only payment :(( card machine or bank transfer possibly would be very useful. No air conditioning in room- struggled with heat a bit last few days with just a fan but temperatures were over 37. In lower temp was absolutely fine.

Large spotlessly clean room, with toiletries provided, hot water in bathroom, good shower, very comfortable bed, nice staff (usually up on the rooftop if not at the desk downstairs). Rooftop restaurant did very nice breakfast. Perfect location close to all main attractions and close to many restaurants, bars and cafes. Very reasonably priced room thank you for a nice stay :)

On the morning of our departure at 06:45, we discovered that the front door was locked with a padlock and reception was empty. There were no other exit doors. I phoned the contact number four times and msg but no response. With anxiety levels rising as we had a train to catch, we searched the front desk and found a set of keys. Thankfully one of the keys unlocked the padlock. My question to the host is why do you lock up your guests with no night duty available? If there was a fire (God forbid), there would be no escape.

Location was good and very clean. The rooftop was the best I had so far.

Very good location in the heart of the old town. The building and the room was also very clean. Nice rooftop bar and restaurant with a beautiful view. The owner speaks very good English and is really helpful. We got everything we asked for.

Zero, everything was spot on

Everything 10/10 Location is perfect, food and spacious , clean, hot water , WiFi is great , balcony has amazing views , Raj and the staff were all really helpful and friendly host from start to finish , Place has modern twist to it. No doubt you won’t find a a better place to stay in Udaipur Indian Oven restaurant upstairs is potential the best meal we had in India, def the best in Udaipur, food is all freshly made and is so tasty it’s unreal . We had breakfast and dinner here a few times

We would have loved a slightly bigger bathroom.

Clean, comfortable room. Lovely service from Raj. Good location near the centre of town but away from the noisy clubs. It’s in a narrow street area where only tuc-tucs and bikes can go. Great rooftop restaurant too.

Everything! Raj and his team are fabulous. Wonderful rooftop restaurant, Omi's cooking is amazing, better than restaurent. The shower was very powerful and hot. Full body mirror and good storage compartment in the room. This is a home away from home for travellers, Raj and staffs are very attentative and helpful, genuinely care for the guests like family.

There were a few small details the owners of the guest house could think about to make the stay a little more comfortable: - a squeegee in the bathroom to help drain the water away after a shower so you can use the toilet without getting wet feet, or provide flip flops - there was often no one on reception as they were busy in the restaurant on the rooftop so some signage to help inform guests of this would be great. We sometimes wanted face to face help and only realised at the end of our stay the staff were on the rooftop rather than reception. The WiFi wasn’t too good and didn’t work at all sometimes. We had been told by other locals in the area that the overhead wiring had been recently cut as Udaipur moves towards being a smart city - they’re trying to move all cabling to run underground.

A good stay at Krishna Stay guest house - very well located, clean rooms and communal areas, nice rooftop, comfortable bed and pillows. The staff were friendly and helpful - I could WhatsApp them with any questions and always received a prompt reply. Great value for money!

The bathroom was.small. No sign on the entrance made it difficult to locate when I first arrived.

- Internet is way too slow for modern needs - Restaurant portions might be a bit bigger for the price - Location might be a pain to find for first-time guests but this is really minor thing - Bathroom has no mirror, hooks, shelves

- One of the best spots in Udaipur old town with magnificent 180° view - Very communicative staff and owner, answering all questions with patience - Top notch cleanliness which is not a common thing in India - Very tasty dishes at the rooftop restaurant with descent prices - They can organize transport to the airport if in need - Comfy bed with fresh linen - Overall design and focus to details
