Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomYou are quite isolated so you need help from the host to get around especially as the driveway to the property is very steep! We didn’t find this a drawback but it is something I think should be mentioned
Lovely little hut on a farm in Munnar. Great views of the mountains, it feels isolated and calm! Surrounded by fruit trees and wildlife. Our host was super helpful! Gave us local cooked breakfast in the mornings, offered various activities (hikes, safari, waterfall, sunset trips etc) and advice & recommendations for public transport and restaurants.

IndiaIt is an ideal place to get away from the city's noise. Located in an isolated elevated space, the cozy tiny farmstay is a nice experience, especially with helpful people around. Strongly suggested for people who want to be close to nature, observing the clouds passing by and the birds chirping.

IndiaThe owner (Bony) is the sweetest person. Always available whenever you need to go somewhere. The home-made authentic kerela breakfast was excellent. Apart from that the homestay is within a farm, it was really calming.

IndiaThe drive from the road to the resort. It is fun. If you book the two rooms. You will have more fun. The resort has only 2 rooms. Breakfast is home made in Kerala style and is nice. There is a kitchen, if you want to make anything. The location is very good, if you are a nature lover. Wifi is working well. Hot water is available 24/7. Bony is the all in one here. He is soo good.

IrelandNothing, it was the perfect stay!
Our favourite stay throughout our month in India!! Firstly, Bony the owner was an absolute gentleman & went above and beyond to ensure we had the best few days stay in Munnar. We organised multi-day tours with him as our driver and got to see a lot of what Munnar had to offer, from view points, to waterfalls, to the tea plantations. We got the chance to taste the fruits grown in the farm and they were honestly some of the tastiest fruits ever (especially the banana's!!!) Also the breakfasts were absolutely delicious. He also brought us to nearby restaurants for dinner which were cheap & tasty! If you are thinking of coming to Munnar, definitely stay at Pepper County Farm or you are missing out!

SpainAn experience we will always remember!! The property is beautiful, full of trees, flowers and plants. The views are amazing and the hammocks are the perfect place to relax. But what made our experience unique, was Bony, the host. He is a very kind, curious, funny and passionate person who will show you around and take care of you with such passion and patience that is inspiring. We really enjoyed the conversations during the jeep trips, and connecting with the other guests. Bony, keep doing what you are doing and you will achieve all your dreams. See you soon!! Tim & Irene

Beautiful homestay set in a lovely little farm. Rooms were very clean and cosy and there were plenty of nice spots to relax around the property. Our host Bony made our stay - great communication from when we booked, always willing to pick us up and drop us to places in his jeep and took us on a great evening jeep safari. He is incredibly kind and we really enjoyed getting to know Bony as part of our stay. Breakfast was also delicious! Would definitely recommend!

United KingdomI just had the BEST STAY EVER, at Bony’s place. I initially came with 2 friends and we booked 3 nights, I loved the place so much that I ended up spending 11 days. If you are looking for some peace and tranquillity this is the perfect spot. The property has lush views of the mountains so you can relax in one of the hammocks and enjoy the view whilst being tucked away in the trees, it’s honestly perfection. I was practicing yoga every morning and had a choice of spots to practice, both with absolutely stunning views. There are many spaces to hang and chill, there’s also a fire pit and really cosy lighting throughout. Bony as a host was absolutely FANTASTIC! As I ended up staying 8 nights there alone as a female solo traveller he made me feel so safe. He was never too far away and made it known that he was always available should I need anything, but he also gave me privacy to enjoy the surroundings by myself. He went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, he’s really a superstar host! Breakfast is included each morning and it was always really tasty and so much food I even ate the leftovers for lunch! Mix of local curries made by Bony’s mother with fruits etc. delicious! Bony took me on some spectacular sunrise hikes, to see wild elephants in their natural habitat drinking from the river, to beautiful sunset spots, swimming in waterfalls, endless chai spots, tea plantations etc etc - I really enjoyed his company and he was always giving really intertesting information and tips about the local culture. Bony’s place was so clean, and the surrounding area is beautifully maintained. There is not one single reason not to book this place! I will really miss Bony and his beautiful farmstay! This was the last place I’m visiting in India before leaving and I have definitely left the best til last, this was hands down my favourite part of India during 2.5 months travelling! THANK YOU BONY ❤️
