We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Decent Airport Hotel a short distance <1 mile from the Airport (Didn't spend too much time here, arrived late evening and left early morning for a day tour - was able to leave bag - so difficult to judge fully Best sleep I had during my trip to (mainly) Sri Lanka and Mumbai.

United KingdomNot sure if this was a hotel or Booking .Com problem but I received several texts/emails 2-3 days before arriving saying that my credit card had been declined and that I needed to re-submit my card details or the room might be cancelled. The hotel said that they always put a block for the room amount against the card but don't debit it until I check out and pay the full bill. The notifications received are very alarming when you are travelling and create worry and concern that it's either a scam when asked to re-enter card details or that you may arrive with the room having been cancelled?
The breakfast was fine but the restaurant was a bit busy on the day that I was there and a bit chaotic but no real problem. The room was excellent and exceeded expectations. The staff were really good and very polite and helpful. This was an overnight stay before flying out the following lunchtime so the closeness to the airport was perfect as it was only a 10 minute taxi journey away. I did not leave the hotel so could not comment on the surrounding area.

Loved the modern, stylish, vibe. The area felt safe. Centrally located from all the attractions we had in our list to do. Situated within walking distances of coffee shops, eateries and the beach.
