This was one of the highlights of our trip! Divya and her family made us feel so welcome and looked after us incredibly. We enjoyed beautifully prepared breakfasts and dinners, which were delicious! Divya also provided us with kayaks to explore the surrounding area, as well as organising lots of other fun activities for us over our stay. We miss you already!!

We had the most amazing stay here at Mango home. It felt very homey, but still the room felt like a great hotel room. It was very clean and modern. Our room had a lovely balcony with backwater view, but sadly we did not have enough time to enjoy it properly. Divya is a wonderful host! She's very nice and accommodating- her home cooked dinner was delicious (she even made us our requested local dish!). She also arranged for us to go on a sunrise boat ride, which was amazing (it leaves right at the doorstep). I highly recommend this place! Thank you Divya for your amazing hospitality.

Divya went out of her way to make us welcome and suggest activities for us. The food was wonderful and we particularly enjoyed our dinner on the house boat. The boat trip in the morning allowed us to see a wide variety of birds and enjoy the peaceful backwaters.

We stayed at the homestay (not the Meenakshi boatstay) and absolutely loved it. We wished we hadn't already booked our next place, otherwise we would have extended our stay. The managers are super nice and friendly, the food excellent, the location at the canal beautiful and they can organise a whole array of activities, for eg. we rented kayaks and could explore the canal by ourselves.

A wonderful location on the water, this homestay is run by a friendly family who care about giving their guests the best experience. The accommodation is comfortable, the breakfast and dinner is all home cooked and tasty and they provide activities such as kayaking and boat trips. A great place and worth staying.

Fantastic location on the river. Rooms are great. Spacious and very clean. Divya is an excellent host and so super friendly. Organised a great boat trip for us at a good price too. The food was delicious . We stayed two nights and had dinner both nights. The best food so far in India.

Warm friendly hospitality, a home away from home. Nice to share the family's daily life. We enjoyed discovering the waterways by boat and kayaking.Local birdlife is exceptional along the waterways, better than the nearby sanctuary when you are out of the migration season. Last but not least, the homecooked food was a discovery and delicious. Highly recommend 👌

We really enjoyed our stay here. The view on the balcony and the location by the water are amazing. Divya is the perfect host, very kind and attentive. The traditional meals she served were very tasty. We miss this place already.

I cant't think of anything that I didn't like.

The host and family were very friendly. Divya made our stay very pleasant. We had keralat syled banana fritters for tea, They were excellent. In the morning we went for a Vallam (traditional boat, ride along the serene lotus flooded canal. OMG, it was awesome. Only Kumarakom can give us this beaut. Divya and Dhilieep took every initiatve to make our stay warm. The authentic traditional breakfast, puttu, was so deliciours, we loved every bit of it. The super clean rooms with panaromic views is what every tourist wants and we get it here.

Nothing it was all fabulous

What an exceptional place. We were so sad we only stayed here one night - Divya and their family were so welcoming, we felt like we really were guests in their home. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with a great balcony. The food was out of this world - some of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. Divya also helped us organize various activities and taxis and was super generous allowing us to check in early and stay drinking tea on the balcony after check out whilst waiting for a taxi. We also loved getting to hang out with her absolutely delightful children. It was incredible value for money and we will definitely be back in future.

Dinner and breakfast was excellent and truly homely. Both Dileep and Divya were putting an extra effort to make us comfortable. Even when we enquired about a couple of local places they checked frst and updated us on how is the place , how to reach there etc.

Most welcoming hosts ever. Clean, comfortable rooms with beatufil views over backwaters. On top, they conveniently organized for me both sunrise boat tour and ayurvedic massage, besides good breakfast and dinner. 10/10 experience.

Divya and her lovely family especially Minakshi her daughter really gave us true feeling of family homestay, showed us the nearby neighborhood, cooked us the best food we ate in Kerala and helped us in every possible way. The property is in a beautiful location overlooking the backwaters. Clean and spacious home with everything you need. The owner and her family are especially lovely, her youngest daughter even taught us how to catch a fish in the river. The owner can organise any tours or boat rides you want. River fish is caught in the evening and served for dinner with delicious accompaniments. Breakfast is also very good.

Our group of 10 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mango Kerala Homes. Everything was perfect - the hosts, breakfast, lunch and dinner on the houseboat, location and view. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Kumarakom.

Everything fine.

Owner family were very warm and welcoming,and they helped me arrange a shikara boat trip.Location excellent and quiet,the room is clean, and there is a bird sanctuary nearby. I woke up to the singing of birds in the morning. It was a very friendly place to stay like home. You can ask them for activities and they will try their best to help you arrange them. The food is excellent delicious.

Divya and Dileep were so warm and friendly - helped us with many local trips and served great breakfast. The location is really peaceful and serene. On top of this - the overnight trip in the backwaters on their boat was truly outstanding and best possible value for money!
