Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We really enjoyed our stay at the Maidens Hotel. the staff were exceptional, very attentive and chatty. The hotel is a gem, a little oasis away from the hustle and bustle of New Delhi. We only stayed 3 nights but could easily have stayed longer. We ate 2 nights in the Curzon restaurant and the food was very good indeed. We would definitely stay here again if we visit New Delhi again.

IrelandThe Cavalry Bar and the Curzon Room were sadly disappointing despite the efforts of the staff to brighten the ambiance. They were stark and unappealing in decor and cold and sterile instead of being the welcoming retreat as promised in the literature.
After the hustle and bustle of Delhi, Maidens Hotel offers a quiet retreat away from the traffic and noise. The old colonial building has not been spoiled by modernisation and retains its charms. Yes, it is old fashioned and may not meet the needs of the modern Western traveller but it more than makes up for a lack of trendiness by having enormous character and atmosphere. The staff throughout the hotel were warm, friendly and keen to go that extra mile to ensure our stay was comfortable.

Everything from the moment we arrived to the moment we left was excellent. The staff could not be any more pleasant and went out of their way to fulfil any request we had promptly, politely and with enthusiasm which started from the hotel manager down through her staff. The hotel itself is well maintained whilst still retaining the original character and charm. The food was excellent with plenty of choices. The room was spacious and gave us plenty of space to relax and unwind. I 100% recommend this hotel should you get the opportunity to book it.
