The road to the location still needs some work to be done. They might need more staff to support the team, but the existing team supported us well.

If you are a nature lover , this is a place for you in Idukki . Not very far from the main road , and the view of the reservoir is breathtaking . We spent most of the time sitting in the balcony and capturing the view . Staff was very polite and helpful . Food was fine .

The electricity in our room was not reliable and turned off really often. The road to the hotel is quite bumpy and the next restaurants etc. are pretty far away.

Very clean and very well maintained. Courteous and professional staff - big shoutout to Mr.Don, Mr.Jibin and the wonderful chef(couldn’t recollect his name). Had the opportunity to meet owners (partners - James sir, Johnson sir, Dominic sir and Joy sir) who were friendly and made the place feel like home. And food - price was reasonable and you will not get homely/safe food anywhere in 5-10km range (Of-course you came for a tryst with nature, right?). Road to the property from NH185 is a bit rough, but nothing your car can’t traverse. Eventually, heavenly feeling you are about to experience is well worth for this small hardship. Now coming to the place as such - Balcony and Bonfire place offers you scenic spots to just chill out and relax. Big bonus (thanks to Johnson sir) - Walk outside the perimeter of property and get breathtaking views of Periyar, atop the rock formation there. All the places you need to see in Idukki are very well accessible from the property. Laurel Heights is a must visit!

I stayed at resort on Dec 26-28, 2022, by booking through booking.com Great location with views that will fullfill mind... Colours of sky during sunset gave me awestruck feel. Has enough parking space and they even allow you to wash car from the premise. Food provided were lovely most time.

Room didn't have a fridge - which I hadn't realized until we checked in (but that was probably on me). I had meds that needed to stay refrigerated and they let us use their kitchen fridge). The costing of the driver (this was hotel car + one of their employees driving) seemed quite arbitrary as they charged us the same amount for a full day of driving around as they did to drive us 1h30m. As we're quite isolated there we didn't have an option. But overall, all was good.

Place is nested on top of the mountain with breathtaking views. They were quite accommodating with our dietary requirements and helped us organize a driver (who worked for the hotel) to drive us around the town highlights and to our next destination the day we left.

The staff was very helpful, the food was good, the room was well-maintained and the view outside the room was incredible. Overall it was an excellent experience. We do recommend this resort for a stay in Idukki.

Part of Approach road is in poor condition which needs to be repaired immediately.

Room size was very small. It's bit off-road so one would need private mode of transport

The staff was very good, they helped me a lot in arranging transportation to roam around. And location of resort is best as it's surrounded by river, mountains, tree plantation
