The bathroom is small and there isn't a proper space for the shower (there is just the upper sink but nothing which limits the shower from the rest) so the entire bathroom gets wet every time you have a shower. The breakfast preparation was slow (around half an hour to get ready) but the nice view from the rooftop made it bearable.

Very nice staff and good location. Loca, one of the staff guys, was always available for any need or question we had. Having the rooftop for breakfast is a plus. You can do heena here. We did it on the hand and we are all super satisfied with the result (the girl just invents at the moment what to draw and makes original things).

We loved Lassi guest house! Incredible experience throughout. We were given cold towels and juice on arrival. We were lucky enough to be given a free room upgrade. The room was lovely with aircon and great WiFi. The room and breakfast were great. Ideal location in Udaipur to explore the old and new city. Loca was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our whole stay. Loved our dinner at Little Prince as well. Can’t recommend enough!

Located just a short walk back from the main pedestrian bridge between the main two sides of the old city, it was quiet and relaxing. The rooftop provided great views. Breakfast was to a top quality and Loca and his staff were helpful with anything we needed. They also gave us a free upgrade which was really nice. Highly recommend if you are needing a place in Udaipur.

The bathroom had a problem but they changed our room right away, so that wasn't an issue anymore. A great gesture from the staff. One of the staff members wasn't exactly hospitable. Rest were great !

The room we stayed in was a lovely historic one with a window seat and lovely large bed. Breakfast was also very tasty! Loca on the front desk stands out for being very welcoming and extremely helpful with any of our queries and making some phone calls for us, he is a great representative!

There wasn't anything I didn't like! The only wish would be for more fresh fruit / yogurt to be available for breakfast as mostly it was omelette/ bread based. But what I did have was good.

A stunning building with gorgeous high ceiling rooms and beautiful roof top terrace. In a quiet ( for India) location with very little traffic noise or pollution as it's at the end of a no through lane.

This was the only hotel during our stay in India which added 3% to our bill when we asked to pay by card. It's common enough in shops or restaurants in India, but not in hotels. Our room didn't have curtains, so we had to wear face masks to sleep past dawn.

We were given a very friendly welcome, and were well looked after by the staff and even given a room upgrade. The hotel is beautifully restored and decorated, just like what we saw in the photos. The hotel is in a very good location, we were able to walk to the main sites in Udaipur, and it was nice and quiet in the evening. There is a nice rooftop, where a delicious breakfast is served. While talking to the hotel staff, they helped us organise the last part of our India trip, and even put us in contact with a driver in Kerala.

Lassi Guest house was such a beautiful place to stay! We were welcomed, given free water and upgraded to a suite. The staff also gave us a free breakfast. The suite was beautifully decorated, spacious with a very comfortable bed. Loca was very helpful and answered any questions we had. He also gave his WhatsApp number incase we needed anything during the day. You must stay here if your visiting Udaipur. A beautiful guest house in a quiet area with beautiful views of the city and a rooftop to relax. Thank you for a brilliant stay!

Access to car park could be tricky and not explained well on Booking.com or hotel website.

Location is close to the main lake and other tourist destinations. Just be mindful of driving your own car. There is a valet car park for 300 Rs/day not far from the hotel, but getting to the car park could be tricky if you are not a local and car is not a small car. Nontheless, I did manage to drive, and it wasn't too bad at the end. Call the reception prior to driving there for specific instructions rather than relying on Google Maps.

We loved Lassi Guest House. The room was lovely! I loved sitting in the window chairs, looking out onto the street and reading a book. The place feels very relaxed and Loka was so friendly and helped us feel at home. My husband very much enjoyed chatting about cricket with him aha. The breakfast was great and we loved sitting on the rooftop in the morning. The rest of the staff were also really helpful. We would highly reccomend.

Perfect place to stay in Udaipur. Close to the old city but free from all the horns and mopeds and a lovely walk across the footbridge. Our favourite place to eat was on this side of the lake too. Our charming host Loca prepared us a delicious hot meal when we arrive at 11pm after a long train journey. Thank you Loca, A bit more expensive than havali in the category it worth it.
