Unfortunately towards the evening a sizeable amount of insects had found their way into our washroom. The bathroom facilities in general were not as nice as the rest of the room. The breakfast buffet was rather small, though it can be supplemented by menu at extra cost.

The building is palace like and very pretty. The rooms are equally beautiful and spacious. The room service and the ordered meals were excellent and good value. The location is very central.

Professionally run operation. Large rooms. Great rooftop area with a stunning view to the City Palace. Breakfast was adequate with dinner meals of good quality. Can highly recommend this establishment.

The hotel is very beautiful, it is very central locate but yet very quired and roof terrace has a stunning view over the central city including the carsel. The room facilities, staff and restaurant was top quality.

I got a room with a window that didn't open and with curtains that weren't able to be pulled back, so it felt a bit like a windowless room. But, I couldn't argue given the price. I got a last minute deal on booking.com and paid about about 5200 for 3 nights.

Great location in heart of old city, but tucked away, so it's a little quieter. Room was very spacious and clean.The hotel has a type of internal courtyard, all white marble floors and walls (very clean) and spacious, with lots of mature pot plants. It was a lovely setting to open my room door to. Great views of the city and city palace from the rooftop restaurant. I didn't eat there, but the staff were super friendly and eager to help, eg frequently filling up my water bottle with filetered water. I'd definitely recommend Kota to friends/family!

There are things that could be improved a bit but as far as value for money this was spot on !

The Location was perfect. Within walking distance of everything. 1 min walk and you are right in the center of it all, yet the Hotel is hidden away and quiet at night. I can recommend this place for Female solo travelers, as it was super safe and the door locks are like a Fort. Not all staff speaks English well ..some do though and everybody was always helpful. I had an early am bus to catch when itbwas still dark out and the staff accompanied me to the street and called me a tuk tuk. I was very greatful for that.

Nothing in particular. Property is in old city & cars can't reach due to narrow lanes. One has to get dropped at aJagdish Mandir chowk& the hotel staff helps you to lug your luggage if you call them in advance.

Mix of old & contemporary charm. Very courteous staff. The owner talks to guests in person & helps in planning their itinerary Authentic Rajasthani food, soo delicious. Very centrally located for most tourist spots. Comfortable bed, clean room & toilet. Nice view of Palace & Jagdish Mandir. In a nutshell- Fine place to be in Udaipur. Highly recommended.

There's nothing to dislike but it's a bit of a walk to the hotel which is ok considering it is in a congested place. It is still In a better location than other hotels.

A very aesthetically pleasing and convenient property in the heart of old/touristy Udaipur. The location is 5 mins walk from Jagdish temple and 10min walk from Gangaur Ghat, lake pichola. Market, eateries, most of the tourist spots are very close and walkable. The rooms are spacious, clean with beautiful aesthetics, a total value for money. There's a rooftop restaurant which I never used. My stay in Udaipur was extended and I tried finding another hotel but liked nothing after staying at Kotra Haveli. The staff is courteous, especially the ppl at reception who are friendly and accommodating. The hotel is very beautifully decorated in traditional Rajasthani style & the white marble gives a calm vibe. If I ever come back I'll stay at Kotra Haveli and would 10/10 recommended others. Extra points for cleanliness, it's a steal deal at this price.

Location was perfect. Walkable from the City Palace. Staff were polite. Restaurant has the perfect view of the palace. Rooms were good, hotel was clean. They referred us to local taxi service provider Pritam who made the trip even more memorable. Make sure to ask his details when you visit here.

The location of the property is in the city center, so everything is easily accessible. Staff is very helpful, polite and accommodating. Everything in the hotel is clean and nice. Beautiful historic building. Spacious, clean and beautiful rooms. Note that you can access the hotel by tuk tuk or by walking since the roads get narrow closer to city center. However, it is not a problem since tuk tuks are available everywhere. :)

This is an impressive haveli in the old town, right in the heart of everything. 30 seconds walk to Jagdish temple and very close to the palace and lake too. Clean spacious rooms and helpful staff. Rahul on reception is very capable, welcoming, professional and knowledgeable.
