Konark homestay has a great location hosted by a lovely family who are always present to help you and talk about beautiful possibilities present in thekkady. We were lucky enough to witness Bison and Sambhar deer right from the balcony of our room.

Our toilet was leaking and the wifi didn't work, but overall it didn't influence our stay too much.

It's a nice place at just the edge of the the national park. The room is big and you have everything you need. The owner is kind and helpful.

Everything for me was fine.

Good spot to stay and beautiful surroundings and environment. For a medium family it's an excellent stay and the owners family is very good.

The bedsheets and floor were very clean, but the walls and bathroom facilities have the best years behind. But it is still nice for the money you pay. The corridors were a bit noisy in the mornings.

The location is perfect for visiting Peryiar national park. The owners are very nice. The view to the park is nice and we saw some bisones during the day. The room was big, shower was hot.

There is no restaurant for good food. Minimum distance is 500 meters for good restaurant which is not possible, particularly in night.

Wi-Fi is slightly patchy at times

Beautiful big spacious room very close to the National Park (about 10 mins walk from where you buy entrance tickets). You can literally see bison boar and deer from the balcony just outside your door. Rani was so helpful with anything we needed, including doing laundry at a very affordable price. The value for money is excellent for the location and facilities. Overall would highly recommend for anyone coming to Thekkady

I loooved my stay at Konark homestay. Rani and her husband are great hosts and trust me you will want to book this place for the views alone! The sun sets beautifully over the nature reserve which is right on the boarder of the back of the homestay. Also I think they improved their wifi because I had no issues, I was also able to upload a very large video file within 2 hours. If I come back to Kumily I will book here again. Water in shower gets hot and the bed is comfortable as well.

we booked the property and called them to confirm. but they told to cancel the booking since only we were the persons to book for that day. when we cancelled, we were charged the cancellation fee. we called them to cancel from their side. but they didn't respond. so don't book the property thru booking..com. book by a call

Would thoroughly recommend this homestay. The prices are very reasonable and the location is right on the edge of the wildlife reserve. You can see deer and bison at the back of the property. Rani is a star and helped organise my activities (trekking and cooking course) during the stay. The trekking guide and cookery teacher were also really trustworthy and knowledgable. I had a lot of fun and would definitely stay here again.
