Check out time 10am, found this early compared to other homestays we have stayed in India which have been 12pm but wasnt a problem. Very noisy - was woken up all mornings at 6:30am by beeping from outside.

The owner is very kind and gives a lot of advice. It's well situated and transportation is easy to find. The room is big with air conditionning. You also have access to a kitchen.

Mr. Kapoor is the kindest host, a wonderful person who welcomed us into his house as dear guests, introduced us to his family, helped us in every way and created a wonderful, caring and delicate support for us.. His house is cozy, tastefully furnished and it's easy to relax in it and enjoy your stay.. The bed is big and comfortable and there is always hot water.. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean with plenty of space for our luggage.. The location is very convenient and there is a shop and restaurants nearby as well as the impressive Hanuman’s temple . Because of this person we consulted with and enjoyed talking to, as well as because of his calm, a nice home that we felt like our own - we will return right there again and connect the interesting and strong Varanasi with more humanity, warmth and coziness! We had a great time and recommend this home heartily and sincerely! Thank you :)

Although we had a lock on the inside of our room, the homestay wasn't locked for the night. It felt like it was set back in a safe location, but we would've preferred both our room and the homestay to be locked.

Amit was a wonderful host. Super accommodating, friendly, and understandable when we didn't have cash to pay on arrival. No request was ever too much! The homestay was pristine and incredibly clean. The toilet was the best we've used in India. The room was spacious with a big TV. We had access to a fridge and cooking facilities, and Amit also left bottled and filtered water which he replenished every day. Thank you Amit!

The property is at a nice location ( very close to BHU university, markets in close proximity ) nd it was very clean and well maintained. The host and the staff were very friendly and they were very helping and guiding. Its truely a home away from home. Totally worth it.

10/10 !!! I had the pleasure of staying at the wonderful Kapoor's home stay, and it exceeded all my expectations! The place was serene, calm, and incredibly spacious - perfect for relaxation. The host Mr Amit Kapoor is an absolute polite, courteous, and always available to ensure my comfort. Their warm hospitality made me feel right at home. The amenities are good, and the location is ideal for exploring the BHU surrounding area. (100 meters from Sankat Mochan). I highly recommend this home stay to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat. Best property of varanasi in this budget! Full airbnb waali feeling..Honestly 10 times better than any hotel..(also in varanasi Most of the good hotels are bit expensive than any other tourist place) its location is good enough in city to reach anywhere fast. Very close to sankat mochan temple.Interior was so aesthetic with such a homely feeling..all clean and cozy place..So well maintained.Our stay was safe and comfortable..full of positivity.The host-Mr Amit kapoor's Hospitality is 10/10 that anyone will remember for long time.Clean, spacious and well furnished rooms with nice bathrooms and private balcony. Even semi-functional kitchen (with basic utensils,fridge.. Filter water and oven) and drawing room are also like cherry on cake! Even provide extra bedding in case for extra persons with nominal charges.Book it without any doubt..suitable for family, couple, group of friends.. Later i got to know even pets are allowed here! Wow..🐈 All pictures on site are real..i will always choose to stay here only whenever in varanasi and will recommend all my friends and relatives too!

As the caption mentions: home away from home. In a chaotic city as Varanasi it was amazing to stay in a place like Amits. From beginning to end he treated us like family and he's doing everything to make his guests feel comfortable. He's the one making the this homestay something special and gave us all advices or Tours we needed. Everything was as described: room with balcony, ac and fan, and on top Netflix. Best place to stay in Varanasi! Thanks a lot for our wonderful stay!

The steep staircase.

Kapoor's Homestay has a nice ambience with pleasant Aesthetics that gave us the feeling of a home away from home. Beautifully decked up with all modern amenities. The bed was exceptionally hard The bathroom is outside the room so you have to go into the common area to use the toilet. It wasn't really a problem for us - was just a minor thing. If you are ok with an Indian toilet, the other bedroom has an ensuite. He gave us this room because the bathroom has a western toilet.

Beautiful interior with well appointed furnishings. Amit Kapoor is an absolutely wonderful person. He gave us all kinds of suggestions what to do in the area and was there to get and see us off on the morning that we left. The kitchen has everything you might need to cook for yourselves and is impeccably clean. There is an RO for water. The balcony is beautiful as well.
