We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

United KingdomThe rooms were a little sad, it smelt quite damp but for the price, they were very reasonable. The thing that got me was I think some of the staff were staying in our hostel room (I apologise if that was not the case but that was the impression I got!). There's nothing wrong with that but it did mean they were coming and going at weird times, other staff would walk in and start talking to them at antisocial hours and wake me up. If it wasn't staff coming in at odd hours, it meant it was other people which is worrying as there was no key to stop them.
The location was great (a 5 minute walk from the Taj Mahal) and the rooftop terrace was good. Great to watch the sunset from and the price was very reasonable.

Amazing location in Agra less than 5 minute walk to the Taj. Super friendly staff, great rooftop with clear view of the Taj nice area to relax. Basic comfortable room with aircon and fan. Really love that we could leave our bags after checkout. Great veggie restaurant nearby - Shankara Vegis. Would recommend to backpackers.

FranceThe private rooms on the top floor are a little bit noisy if you go to bed before the terrace has shut down for the night.
Location is less than 5mins walk from the East Gate of the Taj Mahal - literally out the door, left, then left, then left. The hostel has a terrace with probably one of the best views of the Taj in Agra, with a decent food menu to boot (worth a try even though there are a few other good restaurants in the area as well). Staff are all very friendly and we even ended up having a drinking session with them on the terrace one night! The hostel organises day trips as well, but if you have a bunch of people and want to customise their trip a bit they're amenable to changes. So, well worth a visit if you're going to see the Taj!

Cool rooftop to see the Taj. Class in the evening and day. Basic but comfortable rooms for a night. Cool writing all over the walls from people signing it. Didn’t meet loads of people but think it’s a pretty social place.

They do free walks around, it’s very nice in order to meet people and to see the river and the Taj Mahal from behind. The room was clean and spacious, as the bathroom. Felt like home. Sri Lankahad an amazing experience at Joey's Hostel Agra! The location is perfect, just a short walk away from the Taj Mahal, which makes it super convenient for early morning visits to this iconic monument. The rooftop terrace offers stunning views of the Taj, especially at sunrise and sunset—a sight that you simply can't miss! The staff at Joey's Hostel are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable and at home. The hostel has a vibrant, social atmosphere, making it easy to meet fellow travelers. I enjoyed the communal activities organized by the hostel, including walking tours and movie nights. The rooms are clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The air conditioning works perfectly, which is a blessing after a day out in the Agra heat. The beds are comfortable, and the lockers provide ample space to keep your belongings safe. The common areas are well-designed, with plenty of space to relax, read, or chat with other guests. One of the highlights of my stay was the food! The hostel offers delicious home-cooked meals, and there's a great variety of options, including both Indian and international dishes. The breakfast is hearty and filling, giving you a great start to your day of exploring Agra. ItalyThe room, however, had no windows and felt a bit claustrophobic, but it was manageable.
The property is in a great location, just a two-minute walk from the Taj Mahal. The hostel also has a terrace with a restaurant on the building next door, offering a spectacular view of the Taj in all its glory, along with good food. The staff is friendly and makes an effort to build a sense of community with walking tours and evening gatherings on the terrace.
