Loved staying at this hotel! we arrived by boat to the hotel which was an amazing experience in and of itself. City palace which is a must see was less than 5 minutes walking distance. the view of the breakfast & the restaurant were out of this world!

Stunning property with beautiful furnishings. Gorgeous views and things to look at at every turn. Comfortable bed and very clean bathroom. Atmospheric music at mealtimes.

Beautifully located with views across the lake. Cosy nooks to enjoy the views everywhere. Great rooftop bar/restaurant. Comfortable bedrooms. Perfect city centre location with easy access to all sights. Recommended.

Limited hours for swimming pool. There were some bubbles like of oil in the pool one time and the door of my room was hard to open and close because it was recently painted and they never fixed it during my stay. Just a little more attention to maintenance. Thanks.

Location is perfect.The staff is very professional and courteous.Resturant food is amazing, good breakfast spread.view from the lake rooms is great.easy access to all touristy locations. The rooms are aesthetically done with authentic rajsthan haveli vibes.

Being a palace situated in old city taxi takes you to the nearby carparks. The hotel picks you and drops you to the next destination. Once you reach the airport call and talk to them. But thankfully all taxis know it

It’s older and not kept up to standards. Looks dated and worn. Don’t look too closely because everything just a bit worn.

Wonderful location and staff. Beautiful old heritage hotel with all the pluses and minuses that go with they. Very very helpful staff and location is worth it all. I would choose to stay here again.

The only issue about the place is the location which is a little tricky because cars are not allowed here one has to take an auto and it gets slightly expensive to get to places that are a little further.

Everything about the property was amazing. The room, the lake view, the swimming pool. Everything was clean and the staff was really helpful with everything. They even gave us an early check in owing to our circumstances which was really nice. 10/10 recommend staying here. The location is perfect as the main attraction of the city- the city palace is walking distance

A few more toiletries would have been nice. However, the friendly staff promptly brought whatever you wanted to your room whenever asked for.

Nothing. Struggling to find anything to be negative about. Perhaps only thing was renovation of hotel pool meant that we couldn’t really use it. But as it was off season completely understandable and very minor inconvenience.

Exceptional hotel, a genuine privilege to stay there. Staying in off season we were the only guests but made to feel very special, all staff were great and our room was upgraded. Restaurant was also superb with wonderful breakfast.

Breakfast was very bad, that needs to be improved vastly, need to hire a barista, and manual coffee machine bean to cup. Food was tastless so needs to be worked on massively, continental breakfast was stale, and not of decent standards.

Great property, great to be back, and many thanks to the owner to sorting us out as always.

Jagat Niwas Palace is the most beautiful, romantic hotel in Udaipur. The hotel offers stunning views from both its restaurants. The food is priced reasonably and is very good quality with great service. Overall our stay was incredibly memorable and we were very sad to leave !
