Never forget this hotel fotiya jaisalmer Very lovely place

Friendliest and most helpful staff! Free pick up from the train station, delicious rooftop restaurant with a great atmosphere, comfortable and clean rooms, took my friend to the hospital for free as she had an injury, allowed us to use a room to shower in after our camel safari free of charge. I highly recommend going through this hotel for organising a camel safari (ask if Simon/Suban will be your guide, he's the best!) and just make sure you discuss what's included so you don't go unprepared or with false expectations.

Unfortunately the shower had mostly cold water and only had warm water at the last day of our stay.

Let me start by saying: the staff were absolutely lovely. From picking us up at the bus station, to cooking delicious food, to smiling and greeting us whenever we walked in or out the hotel and helping us with anything needed, they did their best to make us feel comfortable and home. The bed was so comfortable, it was hard to get up early as planned to explore the city. the room in general was quite spacious and the bathroom was well maintained. We did also book a very authentic camel desert tour with Fotiya and as expected, did have a wonderful, relaxing time. The camel tour was guided by a very kind man and his boy. They prepared and cooked very delicious food (extra vegan option) for us, made a small bonfire and let us sleep almost like the local desert men: simple bed with a panoramic star (and full moon) view over our heads. The best? We did not see any tourists on our tour! Defenitely recommend the hotel and the tour.

Beautiful hotel

If there has been a higher level than 5 star, I would have given them it. It is really amazing to stay here. 5* for service: Free pickup, extremely helpful, friendly and attentive staff. Narsi and the hotel owner answered all my questions about city, culture, custom and travel tips, helped us a lots always with a smile on their face, even when I asked about the Queen Harish show which has been no longer provided or asked for the hot water at late night. 5* for food: massive menus in both Indian and Korean styles. Food is fresh, high quality, rich taste, provided with free side dishes (kimchee, cucumber, fries). Bibimbap are highly recommended. 5* for tours: it is optional for you to join their tours but I recommended. It took me 30 minutes to consider their offers, then I found out it totally worth. I went on a dessert tour to see Camel festival in combination with camel riding, sunset seeing, overnight Safari and sunrise in Sam dunes. It is perfect experience. Food was provided generously, camping tent for just 2-3 people, sleeping bags and blankets kept me warm and have a good sleep for the whole night, even they had a dog to cheer tourists up and prevent any other animals on dessert at night. I was told that the tour guide was born in dessert so he seems to know everything If I come back to Jaisamer, Fotiya is absolutely my choice.

The most comfortable beds in India! The staff are really friendly and helpful and always smiling. We ate in restaurant for breakfast and dinner and food was delicious. It is in a great position as it is away from the hustle but near enough to walk through the interesting local markets to the fort. Watching real life outside the Windows of our comfortable clean room was fascinating

Clean and very good service staff, roof top restaurant serves good food. The architect of the hotel uses sandstone. so you get the Jaisalmer feel in your hotel room as well. pics don’t justify the actual room view. would recommend if you’re looking a value for money good stay with family and friends.

The best hotel in India trip so far!!! Everything is perfect, especially all staffs are so kind and helpful. They are so friendly and have 5 stars service- minded. Also you can enjoy eating Korean food in the rooftop restaurant here. Highly recommend for any budget traveler. I definitely will come back again❤️

The hotel is really very nice, the fort is within walking distance, the organized camel safari is perfect and the rooftop restaurant is very comfortable. Other than that, the Fotiya staff are the nicest and most helpful people ever! We forgot our tablet and they went out of their way to help us get it back. Clear recommendation!

The hotel and resort are very nice... Perfect for a vacation or a wedding in a faraway place... Visiting city landmarks is more beneficial when they are close to the city center... But the prices of hotels are a little high. At the Fotiya, it was fun to stay in a hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Every employee I talked to was friendly and willing to help.

At the Fotiya Hotel, the rooms are very big. It is budget-friendly and a good hotel. The small bathroom might be the only thing that makes you sad. Aside from that, the room is fine. It has clean sheets and blankets and a power backup that works 24 hours a day. I love everything about this place, from the food to the service.

Elegant campsite Suncity Camp was a great place for our group to spend the night. The view of the stars at night was beautiful, and the food was delicious. We give this place our highest recommendation to everyone and anyone. When guests opened the room's curtains, they saw a beautiful view. 10/10.

This place is a must-see for anyone in the area because the service is great, the food is delicious, and the scenery is gorgeous. We spent the morning of our family vacation going to sights and camping before having lunch at this modern oasis. At the buffet, there were plenty of traditional dishes that were both tasty and a good size.

Overall, the experience and arrangements were good which includes Camel safari,Jeep Safari, Paragliding and arrangement of a guest room with no additional charge. Additionally we took Quad bike separately which was out of the package, which I would say , it's a waste of money. As they don't give quad bike to you all alone.. But overall , the experience was pleasant. Would recommend.

One of the best camping experiences! The starry night sky view from the desert is phenomenal. They were very hospitable. They cooked a delicious meal for us in the desert. Can do non-veg meal n any stuff on request too. Highly recommended for someone looking for a non commercialised and highly unique experience!
