Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

We were welcomed by the assistant general manager, Tal Rubin, who accompanied us and gave us her personal attentions during our whole stay and made us feel like VIP's. Also the general manager, Roi, was available all the time. The service in the dining room and restaurants during all the meals was excellent, a huge variety of dishes and each dish was more delicious than the other, you can't find better in a luxurious restaurant. There are also the special corners made for children in the restaurant and coffee corner. During the day children are being entertained according age groups. The rooms are simple but clean. The entertainment in the evening is very professionnal and no detail was left out.

RussiaThere were limitations in the hotel, but I know the reason is the situation in the country.
We wanted to have vacations. We got it. The food was so delicious, different and fresh. Maybe not many types of alcohols, but it was enough for us. There was typical alcohol, various drinks, juice, ice juice and other. Room was clean. Shirley is the big heart of this hotel. She has decided our problem with lightning speed. Thanks to her for personal approach. I have never seen hotel’s manager like her. It costs more than the price of this hotel. Clean, tasty and comfortable.

United StatesI was disappointed that the pool and beach closed at 5:30 and the pool was actually gated to make sure nobody could get in. This made it so there was nothing to do in the hotel after 5:30pm (at least before the show after dinner).
The food was excellent and staff was very friendly. The staff went above and beyond to make sure you were enjoying your stay. The hotel brought a tray of fruit one day and chocolates the next which was incredibly nice. The room also smelled weirdly good.

Israel1. false advertising: due to construction, there is no windsurfing offered. 2. the Childrens entertainment, one man was dressed as a transvestite.. inappropriate and unnecessary for children. better to dress as a clown.
the staff, especially Ivan, the front desk manager, Mohammad, the dining manager, and federico, the barman, we’re all exceptional. the staff was excellent, including the cleaning concierge and everyone else. Ivan noticed details which we didn’t even point out, like my birthday, and sent us exquisite gifts like fine chocolates, wine, and fragrance! I was so surprised and happy! the food was amazing! vast selection and taste! the pool and music was great. beach had gorgeous clear waters, rainbow smiling fish, and snorkeling accessories.

IsraelThe hotel staff in every situation do their best to make guests happy. We were spoiled every day with fruit, or chocolate or snacks. It was very nice. The structure is not new but it is well maintained. The rooms are spacious and clean. Excellent entertainment for children and very nice shows (expecially Alladin) The food is the best I have ever eaten in a hotel not only in Israel. The spirits available at bars were also of a good quality considering the all inclusive formula. If you are a family this hotel is the best choice in Eilat and in Israel probably. For the first time ever, we don't leave a hotel in Israel with the idea that we could have spent our money better elsewhere. Thank you

IsraelBeach was closed at the time we wanted to go. Parking was not great. They had a small near hotel parking that was always fully packed and hard to get into. It would have been nicer if it was better developed, and if they had some indicator if there were any open spots before searching because it's hard to get out. There was another parking spot, but it was on gravel and bad for the tires and a little further away. Luckily we only had to park there once, but it was still a little bit annoying.
The hotel went way beyond the call of its duties on many occasions. First of all, they weren't looking to upsell. Everything was really included. They didn't check if you had come into the lunch room beforehand nor how many people, and they allowed you eat as much as you wanted. The food was really good. They had a separated kids pool that was heated and had some slides. It was far enough from the main pool so it was safe for the kids. They really had a great time. They also went beyond for the kids as well, even hosting an included Keytana (kids group), which had them dress up and do activities and such. The hotel had nightly performances on different topics. They also had an open bar that was included and you could pretty much get anything. My wife really liked that you could get a bottle of cold water pretty much anywhere. The pool was nice. They had other activities like table tennis and a private beach with a soccer net and some volleyball. And the staff were really nice and really helped us. It was my wife's birthday and they baked her a special cake and didn't charge us. The people that dealt with us were always very nice, patient and friendly and the concierge went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed.

IsraelThe property is aging, and that’s mostly felt in the rooms. The already all too basic furniture is not in great shape, making the room feel unwelcoming. Sheets had unremovable stains etc.
The food was plentiful and varied, and there were drinks and bottled water all the time.

BrazilAfter 3 days in the beach club, with wife and two kids some thoughts worth sharing. When you get there, get to know Tal (the VP) and Robertinho (recreation) since they are amazing people that wants from their heart that you and your family have the best time ever. It is important to state that because, I had the opportunity to be in some many hotels for children and never met someone like those two. Being that said, the other professionals must pass some good training on how to work with turists, specially from abroad where the culture is much different from that of Israel. Besides some stars, the service level, compared to other international hotel is very poor and not standard between employees. No one receives you when you get with your family, or will help with the bags, or will take them to the room. The place itself, was once a clubmed so the infrastructure is good, but it seems that it didn't go through refurbishment for a long long time. Lights are weak at night and give some "depression" feeling, elevator are old, many times didn't work, door of the rooms are old and public restrooms didn't have working locks. The place was most of the time clean, excluding restrooms, the room was great but with carpet (so if you have alergy be prepared) and they receive you with fruits or chocolates in the room and entrance which is nice. The minibar doesn't have water or anything else, so if you are thursty at night it is kind of annoying if you forgot to pick water at the main bar at the lobby. There is night shows, which depend on your taste can ne good, a very nice swimmming pool, a great boat travel, any many other children oriented activities. Restaurant was fine, quantity rather than quality but many options for all types of tastes. Many activities in the water and for kids that can't be rated by me as we didn't participate.
