It's a quite place and the staff is very friendly.. They offer a good traditional breakfast pretty close to the Sea of Galilee.

I guess it would be wise to have more signs in English to direct non-hebrew speakers in the Kibbutz. Also, the breakfast is very simple one.

Very clean, a very welcome staff, nice facilities, close to lake Kineret and commercial area in Tzemach beach. Everything was good, including the swimming pool, which is nice (not great) for swimmers.

Rooms exceptionally clean. Nice museum on the premises with free guided tour for guests. Great swimming pool.

Especially in the hot summer months, it would be nice if a bottle of water was placed in the rooms. We arrived, the kibbutz store was closed & we were not sure of the tap water was suitable for drinking. For the price charged I feel it could be a nice service to include.

Restroom not well designed, not functional in terms of space, location of fixtures and water drainage. Perhaps it's the norm for these stays but there is no cleaning of the room, not even emptying of garbage. One TV did not work. Short circuit happened at night due to an old light fixture.

Room was comfortable for family of 2+3 children. Convenience store at walking distance. Good location for area activities.

Breakfast is in the main dining room. The food is fresh bet there is a limited selection.

Amazing indoor swimming pool, wonderful graden surrounding the rooms.

The girl in the reception, I think if you are working in the reception your facial expression and gesture are important. and also there is lacked of communication, upon arrival they said they need to photocopy of all the guest passport and B2 visa, but some of us didnt bring the passport, told them why did not email me ahead of time, she just shrug her shoulder, and one thing a day before coming to the property I was ringing them but no one is answering the phone!!😔 I must say I won't recommend to my friends coming to Shaar Hagolan Kibbutz unless theyimprove their service, if they want to attract most tourist.

I like the nature team of the place, its kinda relaxing.

Do not visit this property without a car. We arrived on the bus and we were unable to get a taxi to leave. Without sufficient credit on our bus card (and bus cards are not possible to fill here) and any taxi, we were stranded for quite a while and the staff seemed disinterested in our predicament. (We were finally, after over an hour, able to get a taxi.) Additionally for how isolated the property is, they may or may not offer dinner on any given night. Furthermore we wanted to the visit the museum and it was closed, the facilities were lacking, and we felt some hostility from the residents. The hotel is placed next to the industrial cow farming area, so the smell is unpleasant and the noise wakes you in the morning (which was surprising as we were expecting quiet.) If you’re looking for a genuine Kibbutz experience I would not recommend, and if you trying to visit the Sea of Galilee, stay closer as transportation is difficult.

The rooms were clean, air conditioning worked well.
