Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IsraelThe room was really nice with a beautiful view. Clean and big. I like that we were on a high floor. The food was really good and the restaurant staff were really nice. We didn’t pay for Dinner originally but ended up wanting to eat dinner in the hotel and the restaurant manager gave a great discount and the dinner was really good! And because it was the Shabbat we were able to check it at 16:00 with no extra pay which was really nice since we came from the Center. The lobby staff were really nice very helpful 24/7. Over all great experience. Really loved our stay.

United KingdomService was ok, could have been done more with a smile. Meals would have benefited from more fruit.
Fantastic location. Great swimming pool. Very comfortable and clean rooms. We had a corner room on level 8, killer view of the kineret. Great for kids, decent kids club and activities (have seen better but good for the price). Food was very good - not gourmet but plentiful and good variety - buffet re-stocked often. Plates cleared quickly - efficient service.

TurkeyThe elevators was not enough. There were only 3 elevators and one of them didn't work at one day long. There should be at least 3 more elevators to be added to the hotel. Besides, it was sad to see the same uncomfortable sofa beds still existing in Leonardo hotels. I don't know why they do not change this sofa bed with the one which could be more comfortable. One of the most uncomfortable sofa beds I have ever seen, is being used in Leonardo Hotel chanes for many years.
Breakfast and Dinner was nice with lots of choices. The swimming pool was good. It was all the time cool even the outside temperature was 36-39degree celcius. View from the room was perfect. The location also was good.

Cayman IslandsThe breakfast and the restaurant service were extremely poor. For the price paid, this was a huge disappointment. I found the service at the bar to be aggressive. I had just sat down, waited 10 minutes for a server to show up and some guy gets in my face asking me how I want to pay. I said I just want a quiet drink and I will pay. Embarrassed, he told the bartender to give me another one on the house. I declined. Good luck trying to find the coffee guy. The F&B service at this hotel makes the value for money very, very poor. Don't bother eating here unless you have no choice.
The rooms were lovely. Large, clean and comfortable.

IsraelOur daughter had to leave early on day of departure, at 7.00 h in the morning. In order to have breakfast, we ordered a breakfast box the evening before. She waited from 7.00 - 7.15 in the morning for the box, talking to the receptionist. Then she left without any breakfast. We received the box instead, much later. No apologies of the receptionist. She was not friendly and blamed the kitchen.
the room keeper was very friendly and forward coming.

IsraelCould have been nice to have fresh juice on breakfast and maybe something that better suits for babies. Rooms' furniture is a quite outdated and can be replaced. Prices of snacks at the pool are way too expensive.
Breakfast is very rich with different kinds of food. Vegetables are fresh and cut on the spot, eggs are made for your order, pastries are tasty and fresh, and the team makes sure nothing is missing. The staff are very nice and helpful with everything!

IsraelThe wait for the room to be ready took a few hours despite the hotel saying 2pm we didn't get the room till nearly 5pm, the weekends are always busy in hotels in Israel but the check in was not managed very well, you had a group checking is using 3 different staff. The pool area needs a really good clean as did the toilets by the pool. We were also woken up by construction in the hotel on the 2nd day and as an apology got a very average lunch in the hotel. Would have preferred financial compensation but that seemed like an impossible ask.
We liked the room, we have stayed at the hotel before but in smaller rooms, this time we went for a junior suite and it made a difference, much more space to relax in. Next time we would not go over shabbat its just too busy! The location is perfect right on the front and loads of restaurants etc a 1 min walk away. The pool is pretty good size. breakfast was good with a great choice of food! Overall its a good hotel but needs a serious clean!
