Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaBetter cleaning will be appreciated. Extra towels would be fine. Need quiet renovation but enough good for the price. The little fridge is quite noisy.
Good quality/ price for a 3 stars hotel. Very good location. The staff is fine. Do not expect to get more service and facilities, it's a 3 stars hotel. Enough good to sleep and enjoy the city.

IsraelParking is available but a little tricky. It’s behind the hotel and you need to ask the staff to open the gate. But it ended up being fine. We didn’t understand how to open the sofa bed at first and thought it was too small but then we realised the sofa back folded down and it was fine .
The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and accommodating. There was only a boxed breakfast because of the war, but we ate at one of the many cafes in the area. We would definitely stay here again.

United States1- House keeping for the first 3 days wasn't good, The trash hasn't been emptied, the bed hasn't been properly made ( we didn't make our bed because the tour started early everyday) not enough towels and shampo. After complaining repeatedly to the front desk things went from bad to excellent. 2- My wife waited to get a hair dryer for four hours and didn't get it. It seems only one hair dryer for the whole building and even that one has been malfunctioned. 3- Called the front desk three times and waited 2.5 hours for maintenance person to come.. Not having a good maintenance person is the problem. 4- The bathroom door has a gap not closing all the way. Overall the place is very good for the price.
I Liked the breakfast. It was fresh excellent variety and very delicious. I traveled all over the world and this hotel breakfast is among the best The staff is very friendly . The room is small but ok. I Loved the availability of tea, coffee and cold water 24 hours a day always fresh. I would like to mention the front desk guy's name Yazan for scheduling tours for me and arranging transport to the airport. The price is very reasonable Recommend the hotel. I give A-

United KingdomView from window not great, walking distance everywhere (not bad).... Jerusalem was WAY OVEWCROWDED!! AND SUPER EXPENSIVE!! While Israel has got prices double or triple of European prices (maybe only excluding public transport) but everything else super expensive starting on bottle of water though bakery so on. People rude pushing eachother, running then suddenly stopping in front of you without looking or very rare "sorry" people from all around the world.
Hotel: Nice, staff constantly on phone dealing with some enquiries but generally helpful (better to call reception rather than wait in a qué). Everything is super costly in Israel (comparing to UK cost of living) so breakfast 70nis per person (about £15) seem reasonable.... Room clean , service nice, huge choice of buffet breakfast

South AfricaWhen we checked out, reception wasn't as friendly as when we checked in. Always sad when people are friendly only when they want to bargain for more money, but rude when they have lost the chance to make more money. Friendliness must be because you truly care for other people, especially guests and not because they pay to stay. The shower is very small. The aircon is stuggling in mid day to cool the room and is thus under capacity and should be upgraded. The windows aren't sealed well so it eas very noisy from the road and construction site accross the road.
The room was spacious, the breakfast was very nice with large variety, reception was friendly and generous upon arrival, the hotel smells nice and is well air conditioned, beautiful decor, cleaning staff was friendly.
