Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IsraelThe hotel is located in the center of Tel Aviv, on Rotshield bulevard. Great location, 15 minutes walk from the beach and 10 minutes from Hacarmel market. When we arrived it appeared we did a mistake and booked two rooms for 2 persons instead of 4. Orel the manager was very understanding and fixed it immediately with no extra charge. He showed us arround and took us to the roof top and the garden. The rooms are very big and the balckony has great view. The rooms are tastfully designed and the atmosphere is cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much.

IsraelThe building is not maintened very well. Our TV had problems, one of the sockets came out of the wall, the ceiling in the dining area had water stains. The breakfast was not good. It was a Saturday and they keep a kosher kitchen so the breakfast was subpar.
Staff was great, location fantastic, nice building

ItalyThis hotel has been our home away from home in Tel Aviv for years now, we simply love it! Rooms are spacious, each with a unique design, offer comfort, a beautiful and large bathroom, and we enjoy the balcony with a great view on the city. The location couldn't be better: right a few meters from Rothschild Boulevard or a few minutes on foot from Neve Tzedek; also a short ride from the airport. You have plenty of restaurants nearby, a public parking (for a fee) on the same street, you can walk in the White City... The staff is amazing and extremely welcoming. Security is a priority: there's a safe space on each floor and the access to the main door from outside is controlled. Also, while this doesn't affect the quality of your stay (you don't even notice), I would like to mention that this hotel is supporting and hosting some citizens that were affected by the current situation in the country, so... it's not just a profit organization, you are supporting a beautiful hotel with a special atmosphere, that also really cares about people, and you'll feel the same care for their guests. Thank you!

AustraliaAfter the unwelcoming arrival at check in, then finding the room had glass throughout the bathroom and room, our first time in Tel Aviv didn’t go to plan. But everything was sorted the following day.
We were very excited to stay here, but it wasn’t the best check in experience. But after having contact with the beautiful staff member named Johana, she turned it all around for us. She was exceptional! It’s all because of her that we loved staying here. Also a very special mention to Eugene who was on the night shift. Very friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed staying here and can’t wait to come back. Loved the different themed rooms.

Location was perfect. Loved the character of the building- old style and art deco eclectic. The rooftop bar was really nice. The staff were lovely and helpful.

IsraelFirst of all, it has an AMAZING location. Near all the good restaurants and nice neighbourhoods to visit within a walking distance. I will continue by saying that the manager of the hotel received with an open arms. It’s a botique hotel and has only 12 rooms in a 100 year old building. The design is beautiful and warm (green which for me represents calmness and fresh) and the bed is so comfortable and big. We had a small balcony facing the strees but it’s calmer. The bathrrom was clean and big with all the facilities needed in my eyes. And another great thing!!! There’s a rooftop that you can see a beautiful sunset or just chill there. I highly recommend a stay here.

The hotel is well situated in the centre of Tel Aviv, just one block away the Allenby Street and Sderot Rothschild, so there is no noise from traffic but the convenience to many decent restaurants, bars and bus stops. The room is well-decorated and clean. Moreover, the staffs are very friendly, especially the lady called Sasha that helped us to check in. She gave us advices and made sure everything ok for us. I would definitely stay in the same hotel again if I travel to Tel Aviv again.

United StatesThis is a beautiful property located at the heart of tel Aviv. Rotchild avenue is just a couple of steps away The property is incredibly beautiful. Every detail in the room was taken care of. You felt like you were going to a distant past. Yet, the amenities were top notch. A beautiful shower, with great shampoo and conditioner. The bed was very comfortable. Staff is extremely helpful and always willing to go the the extra mile. This property has a very good value to offer relative to the price. Highly recommended.
