1. stairs (it's fine, but need to be aware) 2. no soundproof. thankfully we were in a room on the very top and only had one neighbor - but when they came home after midnight and a guy started vomiting in his bathroom - we did hear it like it was in our room and even amplified lol. again - it is possible to reconstruct the whole building to not have this problem - but that would mean the prices will jump up. So just hope you don't have a vomiting neighbor at 1am lol. 3. late breakfast. only starts at 8:00 4. no free parking. but that's true for most places in Tel Aviv, so just keep that in mind. I mean there is parking but it's either taken (on street) or pretty expensive if you leave overnight. I'd recommend not even taking a car, or if you do park it somewhere cheap\free and get there on the public transportation. Right in front of the hotel there is a parking lot and the guy was nice to offer us a pretty good rate. Anyway - my point is: know your options. You always either pay with money or comfort.

I read a lot of reviews before booking. I travel a lot and stayed at both hostels and 5* hotels many times. sometimes it's hard to correct the expectations after staying at 5* but I think I did fine :) 1. location is amazing 2. value for money is 15/10 3. clean (it is worn out but clean). if it wasn't worn out it would cost much much more. 4. friendly and helpful staff (but chill - I recommend to have an attitude of asking a host for a favor rather than demanding service). 5. breakfast - very tasty shakshooka, the spreads and salad - fresh and super tasty, honestly I'd take this breakfast any day. Forgot to say thank you to the chef - please let him know :) I plan to come back! Thank you!

It is a wonderful place with great motivated stuff. Please do not give up on the facility. The bathrooms need renovation. The bad smell in the hall needs to be dealt with.

Lack of dishes and cutlery in the kitchen (I’m not sure if guests are supposed to bring their own)

Common spaces are large and well-maintained; there is a lockable shelf above each bed (padlocks are sold separately) as well as large lockers in the hall and storage room on the ground floor. The beach is literally one minute walk away! 🏖

My booking included a breakfast. There is an assign guy in the Serving Area at the Ground floor I ask him if I can have a cup coffee, it's like he didn't have the willingness to give me . Busy using his phone. Till I finish eating the food in my plate. I approach him again maybe there's something wrong and ask again if I can have a cup of coffee ☕. I've waited too long until I have it. I don't know what's the problem of that guy.. Maybe if I book again I will not include the Breakfast. FYI, I have BEEN here this Hostel booked for few times already .

Breakfast options are limited to a basket of 4-6 croissant style bakery items, on plastic plates. We knew there is no elevator, so no complaints about that. We simply left beach stuff in the car instead of carrying up to 2nd floor.

Place is not maintained at all. Room was dirty, we had a used towl in the shower, furniture is broken, the shower warm water stream was super week. Added pictures per limitation but there are more of those. it didn't felt good.
