Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe Davenport is a wonderful hotel. The staff is friendly and eager to help. They helped our large group with dinner reservations and ordering taxis. The morning breakfast was very nice. The pub is warm and comfy. The Davenport’s location is perfect. We were close to everything and only needed transportation to the Guinness Storehouse. Would love to stay at The Davenport again.

Canadait was quite expensive however prices everywhere are up
Damla of the front desk reception staff was excellent. I was in Dublin as an organizer of a class reunion with people coming from all over the world. I had a last minute technical problem on my i phone and am not good with technology. Damla was of great help in getting the problem sorted out. The other staff were very good as well as was Jack the barman.

FranceI've been in Davenport on the first day of my trip and two days before leaving Ireland. The first day as I was still in France, I had a phone call from the desk to inform me that I will have no room available... And that I would have to stay in an other hotel. It was 6 hours before my arriving !!! The phone exchange was a bit nervous but finally I had a room at the Davenport.
Room very comfortable. Speed of wifi Restaurant is a quiet place and the meals are delicious Location is perfect to visit Dublin. You can walk or take the bus

IrelandWe recently had an overnight stay at the Davenport hotel. The hotel was beautiful especially the front lobby. Hotel was clean and bright. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Special mention to Rosilex who was very helpful and even offered us complimentary tea before leaving. We enjoyed breakfast on the morning which had a lovely selection of food and drinks. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Great location and close to some excellent bars. I would highly recommend this hotel.
