The residents bar closed at 10.30 on a Saturday night which was early.

The room was amazing and the staff were very friendly and professional.we were upgraded by surprise and the room was just beautiful. Breakfast was not included so I can't comment and It was a little pricey at €20 PP for breakfast so we ate out.

All good. Breakfast was a little too expensive. Noisy construction on one side of hotel. But staff was accommodating and moved the room.

Excellent location. Walking distance to everything. Near the park and museum. Clean, updated facilities. Friendly accommodating staff.

The breakfast was disappointing. I had to ask them to warm the plates because they were cold. There was no toaster.I had to ask for baguettes because there was none and it took 15 minutes to get them.Overall the breakfast is not fit for purpose.

Damil at reception was excellent and really helpful as was the staff at night at reception

I love how central it is, it’s close enough to the busy streets but also away from the really busy traffic areas.

The music at breakfast is really terrible - a sort of muzak reel of covers. Why not play music with the original artists singing, or classical, or jazz, or folk? Just anything authentic. I skipped brekky one morning because I couldn’t face the music! Unable to use cash in the bar/restaurant.

Very comfortable room and friendly staff, particularly in the bar/restaurant. Excellent location. Great to have breakfast included.

There is nothing major I can think about. I am literally splitting hairs by mentioning that I booked a late check-out online and it was not in the system when I checked in. And it was fixed in 2 seconds by staff at reception. They were super flexible.

The Davenport is in a prime location, very accessible by car or public transport and within walking distance of most sites in Dublin (National Gallery, Grafton street, St Stephens Green). The rooms are quiet, tastefully furnished and comfortable. Staff was super professional.
