The hosts were lovely and had beautiful homemade brown bread ready for us on arriva,l as well as milk, butter, jam and even a bottle of wine. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had an exceptional stay! The Bothy is very comfortable to stay in and it is very well equipped. It is also well located. Hosts are very kind and helpful. We would certainly love to go back!

The Bothy is a great self contained granny flat, really modern and with everything you need. It's in a rural location which means its really quiet, and we discovered it's a great jumping off point for the Connemara, Kevin and Jaqueline were lovely hosts.

The location is perfect, the place is quite, full of light, and spacious. Just great. It's closed to Connemara, Galway, Limerick, Burren Nat Park, and many other amenities. The host provided us with milk, butter, jam, water and an AMAZING homemade bread. We enjoyed every moment there.

We were attending a family Birthday party in the area and needed somewhere to stay overnight. The Bothy was perfect and very comfortable. We were only there for one night but it would be a good base for exploring that part of Galway. It is very well equipped, the beds are very comfortable and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The welcome pack of homemade brown bread, milk, bottled water, coffee, tea and wine was a lovely touch. I would highly recommend it and hopefully we will stay again in the future.

The home was really cute. It was exceptionally clean and maintained with all the necessary amenities. Jacqueline was a great host. She gave us a quick insight of the house as soon as we reached. Delicious homemade loaf, wine and other essentials were provided.

The home is just that, a home! Warm, inviting, comfortable with absolutely everything you could need. The welcoming home made bread was just delightful and such a lovely touch. Jacqueline was so welcoming and accommodating, an absolute dream stay

Clean, quiet, perfect! We landed in Dublin, went sightseeing then drove to The Bothy for our first night in Ireland. It was the perfect, peaceful, quiet spot for our first night. The owners were lovely. We had everything we needed. She bakes a loaf of soda bread for you and it's delicious! It was the perfect spot for stepping off the rest of our travels! Highly recommend this spot!

Nothing - everything was excellent!

Lovely clean and comfortable modern apartment. Very well equipped kitchen. Loads of additional things provided - selection of games, books, outside games for kids etc. Outside area is great with seating area. Owner had lovely touches on arrival- beautiful bread, wine and essentials. Can't wait to stay again!

Everything was perfect, the home made bread was delicious, tea, coffee, even wine! The place was so sunny and then cosy in the evening. Really comfortable bed, and the shower was really powerful. Jackie and Kevin are terrific hosts, Great location, great writers retreat!!
