Of course a bigger room would be nice and better for a longer stay but really you just want to get out and discover the city which is so close by.

Exceptionally welcoming and helpful staff, with maps and tips for things to see and do; room compact but all we needed and it had a view, very walkable location , coffee, juices accessible at any time, breakfast fantastic and parking excellent.

Our room had a twin and a double bed in it that were close together. This seems to be the norm. We spent very little time in our room so it didn't matter much.

Very friendly hosts and lovely breakfast. We stayed in the St. Gerard house and everything was nice and quiet. The property was convenient to the bus station which we used to leave Galway. We also liked that it was a few blocks away from the business of the city center. Everything was within walking distance without being in the middle of things during a busy summer season.
