The extra charge of €15 daily for breakfast. However, the breakfast was excellent.

It was a very comfortable stay, location was excellent, breakfast was delicious (however I did not expect to pay an additional €15 daily for same). I was very pleased with my stay in Portfinn Lodge.

The only thing I could have wished for was to be able to have the breakfast a little bit earlier. The breakfast was from 8 am, and that was a little bit late for me.

The staff was really friendly and helpful and the location was great, right next to the fjord. It is a great place to explore Connemara from. It was easy to find the accommodation thanks to the pictures of the place on Booking.com. Look for the "Fáilte"-sign on the grass infront of the accommodation. It was easy to park outside. I also really appreciated the kettle, the tea and the milk in the room. The accommodation had a homey feel to it and the room was cosy and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was not included in the price but it was delicious and well worth paying an extra 10-15 Euro for. Please drive carefully on your way there, because there are sheep on the roads <3.

Wouldn't change anything was a beautiful holiday house catered for everyone.

The breakfast was really nice, we had it every morning during our stay. The stunning views of the mountains and the water. Not to forget the pleasent location of the B&B being right beside two lovely pubs.

On a bike-packing trip but had to store bike outside, although, the hosts did advise me of this when booking. It is a safe location, but I just didn't like leaving the bike out, even locked. But if ever passing through without a bike, I'd definitely stay here

- We stayed 2 nights, left the room from 10am to 7pm after the first night and they didn’t check the room (beds, towels, coffee cups… untouched). Given the region is so humid it would have been great to have dry towels… - People are a bit rough but actually nice

The facilities were a bit tired and could use a bit of sprucing up.

We loved the village of Leenaun and this hotel is a two minute walk to the village. If you walk slowly. The homemade yogurt on the breakfast buffet was the best yogurt any of us have ever eaten! The views of Killary Fjord are hard to beat. The owners went out of their way to be helpful.

There was NO WARM WATER. We arrived later in the evening and when I went to take a shower there was only almost cold water coming out. It was really not something that we expected or was advertised, and not a pleasant experience at all...

The lodge was very cozy. We were given a room with a stunning view of the fjord. The bed was comfortable. The staff paid a lot of attention to the details (there are cups with tea, coffee, snacks, etc...) It's in a very good position to visit Connemara.

It was in a beautiful area. A small store & pub selling meals very close by. Huge room with a couch to sit on & a view of the bay was lovely.

From my point of view there was nothing that I did not like. I have stayed there several times and each time I have received the same welcome.

The views from the property are exceptional. The owners were very friendly and more than helpful. The Lodge is set right in the centre of the village making easy to get to the local shops and village pub. Parking at the Lodge is off the main road that passes through the village and the vehicles are not visible to people passing by.
