Out in the middle of nowhere. Perfect for peace and quiet. Cottage was well eqipped with everthing we needed. Even had the fire going one evening. Beautiful countryside with cows as neighhbours. Narrow roads so one has to drive carefully. We enjoyed our stay here.

This cottage was exactly what we needed. It was a wonderful place to stay - everything that you needed on hand with lovely views. We explored the local attractions and enjoyed taking things a little slower (especially on the narrow roads). A perfect spot to take time and appreciate nature. Checking and out was simple and host was easily contactable. Absolutely no complaints.

Loved the location, sinage is excellent. Away from busy roads. Definately for me home from home. We loved how fire was set and ready when we arrived. Absoultely loved the elertic blanket especially with the timer on it. Everything was clean and towels on beds every thing you could need. The cctv made us feel secure . Definately will return. excellent communication with host. The kitchen was compact and lovely, few little extra e.g. smoothie maker. Lovely pack of biscuits awaiting upon arrival

A nice, comfortable cottage with a kitchen (with table and chairs), a dining room and a sitting room as well as three bedrooms and two bathrooms. A clean (new?) cooker - even the oven was clean! Also good quality cookware. The washing machine works well and is pretty quick but I couldn't get the dryer to work properly. Beautiful location with great views across the farm. I expected to be disturbed by people working the farm but it didn't happen, and I like cows as neighbours. If you want a quiet country break in this part of the world I recommend Patricia's Country Cottage.

The feather duvets created a bit of a battle, maybe I'm just not used to them!!

The peaceful location of the cottage was fabulous. Perfect to come back to after a busy day being a tourist. The cottage is very well equipped and had everything we needed. Watching the shallows was an absolute joy and we had a bonus visit from the cows.

The Cottage felt like paradise to me: the beautiful views through CLEAN windows, the lots of singing birds, the swallows flying in and out of the sheds, the cattle checking on me in front of the terrace....The cottage is well equipped and nicely kept; I count myself lucky to have met the wonderful caretaker-lady Michaela who is in charge of keeping everything so immaculate!! I appreciated that plenty "thirsty" towels were provided, and a kitchen roll... I would always gladly come back to Patricia's Country Cottage!

The bath water was a funny yellow colour when first run not sure if it's connected to a well. The electric fence i was a lil worried about letting the children play out Incase the broke rules and touched it but all was well they fully understood not to go where the private property signs are and where not to play. And they still enjoyed to the fullest.

Everything very private setting. You definitely need a car to stay there but for relaxation and rest and Peace it's perfect. I'm 8 months pregnant and the facilities were perfect for my needs. The property lay out was brilliant. Heating the property was no extra cost and the heat stays all night once heated for coupe hours you also have a endless supply of fuel for the fire place so you can enjoy relaxing by the stove. It was truly a breath of fresh air to stay there. The host left us alone and didn't feel the need to contact us which was absolutely wonderful all the information you could want was in the house manual. Everything was perfect there was even electric blankets!!! All Beds and bedding were excellent!! Property was spotless. And the view was relaxing. Loads of activities in the area to that are also provided in the manual. Lovely home away from home. Everything was in working condition and provide. Closest supermarkets was gurteen Centra or ballmote SuperValu. Could also drive to Boyle for Saturday farmers market. House is modern UpTo date and maintained high standards. Keys were in lock box with code. After a nightmare experience at the Beautiful 3bed house in knock also none as the Golden Acre ( cottage from hell) i wasn't going to dear book another one esp in the near of that. But I'm glad we didnt let fear get to us and stayed here instead. It really was delightful for all of us.

We spent fives days over the Holidays here with simple Christmas decorations and lights making it perfect. Very clean, warm and comfortable with new windows to enjoy the view. Very nice beds with lovely linens and an amazing feather sofa. Wonderful family retreat.

Going Home!

I honestly cannot recommend this property highly enough! The host taught of everything and provided everything needed for a comfortable enjoyable stay. The house is cosy and comfortable and in a beautiful part of Sligo, in a quiet, scenic location. The kids loved their stay and the cows out front! I highly recommend this property to all!

the house was very damp we had to empty the dehumidifire before we left in the morning there was quite a few cockeroches around the property and it was hard to get the oven and stove to work at first until my husband gave the gas bottle a good shake

it was ok to get too very peaceful and alright for somewere to sleep
