The room could have been a bit more clean. We noticed that the headboard was stained and we noticed some stains (looked like make up?) on the bathroom door. Overall it was well kept and clean, but it could be improved.

Madison house is in the city centre, 2 min walk from the train station which is super handy. The room is small but comfortable. Our room was facing the main street but was quiet at night. Very efficient self check-in.

The room was a little smaller than expected and we were woken up very early from outside noise, but it certainly didn't spoil our stay.

The room was clean and beds were comfortable. It was perfect for a one night stay, probably wasn't big enough for 4 adults to stay any longer, but great position, could walk to all of the nearby attractions.

Lovely room, very clean and comfortable. Bed very comfy. Amazing location for visiting Galway and extremely close to station and main part of town. Easy to access and overall hassle-free.

The fact that booked two queens rooms and a cot but when we arrived there was no key fior second room. The cot never arrived until late afternoon in the second day! When talked to owner they said to look at family room it was not suitable for what we wanted but it was the only room available so we had to take it as had a two year old. The first thing we noticed when going into this room was 6 packs of ear plugs! Why? Because a loud band plays right next door so no one hit much sleep and awake until early hours of morning. The lift wasn’t working and we were not advised of this at the time of booking. There were numerous broken chairs in both units. There was a huge leak in one shower room that was coming down the wall onto the floor where clothes and toilet bags were soaked as no shelves to put things on. General maintenance needing done in both units was poor and not value for money. The owner did not want to know about these concerns and would not refund any money. It’s not value for money and I would not recommend this place.

Would’ve liked a fridge. For 1 night was ok but for more you may need one. Alot of doors to get to the room.

It’s very central. Although it is self check in, we had all the needed info beforehand. It is clean and confortable. You get tea and coffee and earplugs for the music downstairs.

An odd smell probably due to high levels of humidity in the interior of the building, which would immediately seize after entering our room.

The room was more than adequately equipped for the night we spent there, easily accessible and clean. The owner pleasant and willing to help sent us off the next morning.
