Strict rules, I asked for 3 separate beds, but they dont have, so I have to pay the room for 5 people, because double beds are so small here in Ireland, its impossible have a good sleep on that bed for two. Every other place did gave extra bed.So they charged me extra and I couldnt cancelled reservation anymore withot a charge. It was cold, the heat didnt worked and a shower is with very low pressure.

    Near city

No WIFI access in our room. No ability to be able to make tea or coffee in our room or in the communal lounge area.

Walking distance to restaurants, off street parking, lovely sitting room looking out over the water.

Exterior of the building could do with a face lift, signage etc not the most inviting, as with the entry hall and breakfast room, dodgy chairs / slippy floors.

Good location close enough to walk to Killarney town centre and National Park etc. Room had everything that was needed, we had plans so just used for a base to sleep & shower. Breakfast was good. Fab views from the living room.

There is an odd vibe - lots of rules & limitations and lots of absences of things usually provided in hotel/hostel rooms. No water glasses, no hand soap, no kettle , tea, coffee or any other edible item provided in the room. The WIFI signal is only available in the lounge- a lovely room over looking the river - but you’re not allowed to eat or drink in the room. Breakfast is provided - an unexpected bonus! The place has so much potential but just needs some extra care from the owner.

The location is great. It’s a 20 minute walk to the centre of town. We had a room looking over the river which was lovely

WE HAD 3 ADULTS IN OUR PARTY AND BOOKED FOR 3. THERE WERE 3 BEDS IN OUR ROOM, 2 DOUBLES AND A SINGLE. WE WERE NOT ALLOWED TO USE ALL 3 BECAUSE THEY FIGURED 2 PEOPLE SHOULD SLEEP IN THE DOUBLE (WHICH WAS NOT MADE UP) SO 2 65YR+ WOMEN HAD TO SHARE A BED! SEEMED RIDICULOUS. BREAKFAST WAS GOOD BUT GET RID OF THOSE SILLY LITTLE CUPS WITH SAUCERS! ALWAYS REFILLING. THE BATHROOM DIDN'T HAVE ROOM TO PUT OUR TOILETRY THINGS. NO TV - NOT THAT IT MATTERED MUCH BUT SOME PEOPLE WOULD.

THERE WAS A WONDERFUL SITTING AREA THAT OVERLOOKED THE RIVER - BEAUTIFUL. UNFORTUNATELY WE WERE ASKED TO LEAVE AT 10 PM ALTHOUGH WE WERE SHARING A QUIET DRINK. AT THAT TIME, IT WAS JUST GETTING DARK DUE TO IT BEING SUMMER.

The facilities in the room were a bit old. They could do with some renovation. The toilet door does not close complete (sliding door), so I felt uncomfortable using the toilet with my visitor in the room.

Good location with a lovely view, very good breakfast, proper communication and updates from the staff - they were exceptionally nice.

The bed was too hard for me, so I woke a few times in the night to turn over, but it would be perfect for anyone with a bad back . There was no tv, that didn't really bother us on this trip as we were not in the room much . There was no kettle in the room.

Room for three with beautiful views of the river. The room was clean and bright. Breakfast was full irish with tea/coffee and orange juice and was perfect. The b&b is within walking distance to the inec . The owner and staff were lovely. We did enjoy our time here, and the negatives are minor and wouldn't stop us from booking again so long as it was for one night and without the children.
