Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomUnfortunately there was no breakfast provided when it had been paid for. Refund was issued via, booking.com again (still not received) and we then had to go find somewhere for breakfast which messed up our travel plans.
New room was spacious for a triple, bright and clean. No phone in the room and no biscuits provided with the tea & coffee.

United StatesWhat I didn't realize when I booked the hotel was that the rooms were above one of the most well known night clubs in Dublin (this is actually the case with multiple hotels on this particular street). The night club didn't close until 3 AM, and you could hear the music and the bass even up on the 2nd floor (there was one floor between the floor my room was on and the club). The hotel did provide ear plugs on the nightstand, but they only did so much. We stayed out pretty late ourselves the two nights we stayed there so it didn't affect us too much, but it wasn't ideal. Also, the club goers could actually access the floors where the rooms are, which I didn't love.
The location was amazing, we could walk to all the main attractions in Dublin. The room itself was also very nice, as was the staff.

SloveniaThe party in the night club is loud and long. Not the best place if you want to get some peaceful rest.
We did not realize the hotel is located in the same building as a popular nightclub. We arrived late on a Saturday night and in the middle of the party, completely surprised by the whole situation. It was very funny but I imagine not everyone takes it with humour. The staff was lovely though and we did end up going down and joining in the fun. At least the entrance free is free for the guests of the hotel.

PolandNeighbourhood of the building looks quite save, but still i guess its place where are those kind of strip clubs. its quite until some 20:00 but than arround 22:00 it start to be so load that even in plugs on the second floor you can here music very well and the bass until arround 2am. So better not come back from the bars and the center until 2am. It was friday. Maybe in regular days its not like this.
Clean room, confortable bed, good price, nice staff, free plugs for ears due to noice from the disco on the ground floor.

IrelandI was in a double room (it had a double and a single bed). One of the pillows on the single bed had stains (I didn’t bother bringing it to staff attention as I was sleeping in double and thought it not worth the bother) Bathroom mirror light didn’t work properly - light kept going off. Breakfast was €10 added to the booking but it was absolutely not worth it. Ridiculously limited selection for continental breakfast. And the only hot items were tea and toast. Save your money for breakfast elsewhere. Even on top floor, the sound from nightclub is loud but I knew about this in advance and came armed with ear plugs (noted there was no ear plugs in room btw)
Location perfect for south city centre. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was quite big for the room. Reception staff were very friendly.

IrelandBar/Club downstairs. My room was on a higher floor so couldn't hear much, but a room on a lower level would be able to hear a lot of commotion
Great room, very spacious and bed was very comfortable. Shampoo/Body wash provided, no conditioner though. Great location, close to Temple Bar and Stephen's Green
