Nothing not to like really, a few extra kitchen tools (collider, grater, cafetière) would have been nice to have but not a deal breaker

The location was excellent, short drive to the local supermarket and the pub and beach were both walkable in under 25 minutes. It was a little quiet whilst we were there so we never had a chance to see the communal areas in operation which was a real shame. We were offered vegetables and eggs fresh from the on site small holding, this was very much appreciated. The wagon was great fun although there is a need for flexibility and dexterity especially for getting into bed

    Everything was lovely

Inch Hideaway was everything we wanted and more, the surroundings were so beautiful, our yurt was so relaxing and fun to stay in, surrounded by lovely plants and trees. The hosts Coleen & Fabrizio were really lovely. The kitchens were housed in this wonderfully quirky building, likewise the showers, in another interesting building. The facilities were excellent. There were lots of other things to see and do or just relax outside, or in the lovely communal barn area. Or just stroll round the grounds and see the lovely animals. Definitely feel so relaxed and calm after our time at Inch Hideaway.

If I had to pick something, it would be this- the sofa bed in the yurt wasn’t the most comfortable thing on the planet. However, it could also just be me and my terribly sensitive back and the fact I’m more used to a softer mattress. Would be perfect for someone who likes a more firm bed to sleep on, maybe.

I loved the place based on pictures and reviews I had seen when booking, but nothing compares to when you arrive. The whole place just has such character and warmth. There’s so many little things that add up to make such a fantastic impression. Everything from the little homemade decorations on trees, to the quirky signage for things, to the allotments, chicken coop and Doris the pigs plot with the most impressive pear trees!! The ethos of the whole site being eco and things being reused and repurposed left me with a feeling of wanting to do more of the same at home! The kids (7,4 and 1) had the most amazing time and loved their little bit of independence (older kids) of being let go to the play area themselves with their friends they made there. The site and facilities are so clean and so well maintained! I had expected to come across some unwanted visitors in the way of bugs etc, inside the Yurt, but not a single creature was found! I had made my peace with the fact that the yurt may smell some what damp or musty, given the nature of its style (outdoors etc) but it wasn’t at all! Beds were homely and comfortable and everything was clean. Over all, it exceeded what we expected and we all genuinely adored our time there! We will be back! ❤️

Not a dislike- but a recommendation if you stay, take crocs or something similar- we didn’t and we wish we had, just to shove on to go to and from toilets/showers etc.

Lovely little paradise away from home, weather wasn’t great ( but it didn’t matter) was a lovely little base for doing all things Cork-Based! Family are lovely! Kids got on great with everyone! Kitchen has everything you need to make a meal, even for 7! Thank you for your hospitality!

Only slight negative was the kitchen space, a thing that they are looking at improving next! Other than that, we had everything we needed.

Inch Hideaway was a fantastic place to spend time with our friends and their kids. Plenty of space for the kids to have fun and for parents to relax and catch up. Slept so comfortably in the gorgeous yurts and had lovely hot showers the next day. Colleen and Fab have such a unique vision and have poured it all into the place.

Inch hideaway is good for the soul. We were in a yurt and it was just so relaxing and cosy. Back to basics and it was just amazing. There is a very cute communal kitchen with all you need and a lovely few extras like tea and coffee supplied. The location is perfect with two beautiful cliff walks in easy distance. Inch beach is a stones throw and comes with its own sauna. Highly recommend dropping into the local poc ar buile- it’s an experience in itself. We also thoroughly enjoyed Doris the resident pig, she’s a diva. A magic stay thanks Colleen for a lovely experience and thanks for being so accommodating.

One night there were a group of 3 friends who stayed by the campfire until early morning, playing loud music etc, everyone else in the site was part of a family and this kept a lot of us awake. The owner was away so didn't realise but apologised when she came back next day and we told her.

The kitchen, amenities, games for children, campfire setup, Pizza night, everything was fantastic. The kids really enjoyed the secret tunnel, the trampoline, the table tennis and all the games and books etc. We stayed 2 nights and there were 9 kids in our group ranging from 12 down to 5, not one of them asked for a screen the whole time we were there, they played outside until it was time for bed and had an amazing experience. I would definitely go back. Its a great place for a family to come together especially for people not so keen on camping 😁
