We, two women, were expecting to stay in the hotel. We were taken down an alley to a room behind the hotel. Within 10 feet of the door were signs directing the homeless where to find help, and a trash bag with a blanket shoved into a hole in the block wall, just before the entry door to the back alley 4 units. We were instructed to always lock the entry door to the unit, but only found it locked by others in the 1 of 8 times we left the building. We made our disappointment known to the young evening manager to no avail. He then instructed us how to lock the entry door. When we went to checkout at 9 a.m., I called out several times but no one came so I just put the key on the counter out of sight of anyone coming in. Very disappointing and I'd never book there again, and tell others who do to be sure and verify they will actually be inside the hotel not put out back!

The inside of the hotel was lovely and the day staff were very friendly and helpful.

The annex is not shown on the images, hence it was very different from our expectations. The surroundings are not that great as for the main building and the atmosphere in the main building is different.

We stayed in the annex of the building, which the hotel informed us of. It was modern and new and the rooms were great and spaceful.

It did not serve breakfast - but were aware of that before booking. It was down a side alley next to the small carpark - might not suit everyone.

It was good value for money - room was clean and spacious and the location was great - in the middle of Tralee. The staff were friendly. Great base to enjoy Tralee and surrounding attractions.

Our stay wasn’t actually at the hotel, but a self contained annex, down an alleyway, beside the hotel. It was fine, although no windows to open, which it felt very confined. It was comfy, all brand new but certain things in the bathroom were loose, as it was probably rushed to get it finished. Very very thin walls, could hear everything from other rooms nearby. No breakfast included which I didn’t think was value for money. Didn’t have any dealings with staff.

Basic accommodation. No breakfast available. Church bells in the morning seemed very random in timing and duration.

Central location. Close to restaurants and bars. Beautiful park a short walk away. Connie Foxes is a lovely bar with wonderful outside seating.

No breakfast. Would have e preferred to stay in main hotel building. Bathroom door only had frosted glass, not a solid door.

Hotel bar was very busy when we arrived. We were staying in the annex which is a separate building out the back. Although it looked rundown outside, the rooms were clean, well presented and comfortable. We were emailed after booking to say there was no breakfast available which was disappointing but there were plenty of places in Tralee to get breakfast.

The hotel seems to be shared by longterm guests.

The Hotel Imperial was very central to the town square and shopping. The Tralee Gardens were near by and well worth a visit. The rooms in the back of the hotel were modern and clean.

Chatty neighbors in next room in the middle of the night. Minimal soundproofing between walls. Access to the room is via a grungy alleyway with uneven surface.

The only thing I didn't like was the sound insulation in the rooms is very poor.

The city is wonderful. The people, as throughout Ireland, are wonderful. The hotel is clean. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help.

Noise levels from another rooms were a bit high, but it is still enough of silence to fall asleep quietly. Towels were clean, but they are a bit small for fully drying.

The hotel is really close to the town centre,nice and quiet, a lot of entertaining places around the place, room was clear and tidy. R room wasn't located in main Building,but it was quite decent inside.
