It’s so hard to look for what I don’t like. Maybe just the room I was expecting to be on the 1st floor. We were kind of on the ground floor which I’m not comfortable enough but it’s ok. Room is perfectly laid out so not to worry too much.

Pretty much the place for a quiet and relaxing weekend. The view is top notch where you can just chill and let your tired body absorb all the freshness of the river. Healthy food options too which we tried.

We had the most wonderful time celebrating our engagement here! We checked in early and enjoyed a lovely cocktail in the bar before heading for the spa. We both really enjoyed the treatments and the unique setting - I had a seaweed bath while looking out on the river. The room was beautiful and the hotel helped to arrange lots of little surprises to celebrate our occasion. The staff were so lovely and helpful. We had a delicious meal in the restaurant - incredible food in a beautiful setting. We can't wait to come back!

There was no fridge in the room and have to pay a service charge to get a drink brought to the room. Some staff were too busy talking to eachother instead of looking after guests in the dining area.

We stayed in the ice house for my birthday, from the view when driving up the property to then enter the room where there was a birthday card and a desert the attention to detail was outstanding the dinner and breakfast was amazing overall we also did the spa which was so relaxing ! I cannot fault one thing about the ice house we definitely will be returning

Not applicable. The only thing I disliked was the fact I I had to return home and couldn't stay longer!

The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful all throughout the hotel. The views were remarkable and the free breakfast In the morning was delicious and always arrived promptly, even on the days where the restaurant was busier.

Apart from finding trouble to get a parking spot out the front initially, there really was nothing negative about the stay.

The view was spectacular and the room was so welcoming and comfortable. The breakfast was fabulous and the service was very good. The dinner was very tasty and the restaurant so bright and comfortable.

Extra charge for cappacino for breakfast with what we paid for room spa and dinner this seemed penny pinching.

Everything was top notch the room with a large bath, floor to ceiling glass sliding door out onto balcony overlooking the river, food was delicious, staff excellent.

Soundproofing in the rooms could be improved but any issues were resolved immediately by the hotel staff. I would like to see the cost of the thermal automatically added into the room rate rather than have it as an add on. Minor things

They took really good care of us at the Ice House Hotel. Perfect start for our honeymoon trip. Everything was excellent from the food to the facilities and the views were amazing.

A little bit outside Ballina but didn’t bother us as we had driven down and only planned to stay around the hotel.

Gorgeous hotel! The food was lovely and the staff were so friendly. Our spa therapists Stephaine and Alannah were excellent and very professional! Additionally Deirdre, Vivian and Damien on the front desk were so helpful with any of our queries and so welcoming! Definitely will be back and recommending to everyone.
