Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Hostess Paula was such a a charm, and immensely helpful in prioritizing attractions and dining locations. The location is a short drive to the heart of Galway's night life district. All of he recommendations were excellent. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. Highly recommended.

SpainConcern for busier times as this is a purpose built multi occupancy B&B in a select housing development where many of the properties were B&Bs with marked parking places at front on street. With groups in all these houses it would not be quiet or with respect for the other residents. Perhaps booking rules could restrict this happening.
Quiet location for sleep. Good breakfast with both continental and cooked(with choices) available. Comfortable bed, clean, and all needs provided.

Paula was the most friendly, helpful, and informative host you can imagine! She put us on to some great places to park, catch trad music, and eat in downtown Galway during a busy tourist season. She also told us about the ferry that we could take in order to get to Dingle more effectively. She always had a smile and laugh for us. In short, Paula and her B&B are wonderful!

United StatesWe just missed meeting our host, Paula, upon arrival as she was heading out the door to yoga. However, her lovely mother met us and made sure we were all set in our room. She recommended we take the bus into town for dinner and drinks. She showed us the city bus stop, directly across the street. The bus comes about every 15 minutes and takes about 10 minutes to get into town (the last stop). This made getting to and from the center of town really easy. Paula met us each morning, chatted, and cooked wonderful breakfasts. She was the perfect host, and went above and beyond our expectations. Highly recommended!

United StatesWe opted for a lower cost option and that meant being a little outside of the city center. It was not a bother for us but hopefully people know that before booking.
It was the perfect setup with a comfortable bed, couch, dresser, and TV. There was a good sized bathroom with shower. It was everything we needed. The host was fantastic and gave us tips that were super helpful. The breakfast was delicious and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

United StatesThe only tricky thing we dealt with was crossing the street to the bus stop. There is a bus stop very close by that takes you to the city center in 15-20 minutes, but you have to cross a very busy road with no pedestrian crosswalk. I’m a wimpy American, so this may not be a big issue if you’re braver than I!
The host was absolutely lovely. So kind and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Room was the perfect size for my parter and I.

A short ride to Salthill Promenade which was beautiful. I would certainly recommend this B&B and would like to return sometime in the future.
