It got a little stuffy at night, maybe better ventilation would help.

The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. Especially Tom, give that man a raise or a pizza party at least! JK but seriously he's a Rockstar. Pub crawl was good fun too!

Location wise you cannot beat this hostel! Train station (Galway Ceant), Bus stop all are sooo very close. Right at the heart of the city centre, near the Eyre Square, every facility is within a walking distance. Staff: Very helpful, friendly and available 24x7. No matter who is at the desk! I misplaced my key card. The Staff was very kind to give me another one free of charge. If you ask then they will give you great hat tip to explore Galway and nearby attractions! Free walking tour, pub crawl and day trips can be booked through the Hostel which is great for a solo traveler. I left a parcel for my friend on the day of my check out. My friend collected the same after a week in good condition! I really liked their washroom toilet arrangement for a mixed dorm 12 bed set up [4 showers, 2 toilets (one with basin) and 2 wash basins for a common wash room area]! Other hostels can take a cue from that. I just wish it was more clean and maintained on regular basis. There is no lift but the staff can help you with the luggage! I just wish they had more variety in the breakfast.

I don’t think there’s a lift (correct me if I’m Wrong)- a man offered to help me with my bag and that was nice! I didn’t need it but someone might so if you have any mobility issues it might not be the place for you. Also just note it is above the bar and it’s not very loud but you can hear the music. It’s not a big issue.

Great breakfast and relax room. Staff very friendly and welcoming (even for a more mature person like myself- not just for young people!) I got a bottom bunk, with privacy curtain. Reasonable price, fantastic location across from the Square. A very light atmosphere, love the bright orange which accents the inside. Offered me a towel, other residents were very friendly. They have a dedicated toilet and shower room for 10 people and the 3 shower/change stalls and 3 toilets are all maintained so clean. They also kept my bag for a few hours while I went out after checkout. I would stay here again 100%.

Really good breakfast and really nice friendly vibe with lots of activities that you can choose to get involved in. Staff super helpful. It's above a bar & busy area so was noisy on the Saturday night that I stayed but to be honest, can't expect anything else from a hostel on a weekend :)

There's only one small common area to relax in which can be a little loud

Stayed in the 16 bed dorm and it was surprisingly clean and the bathrooms were always free when I needed them. The dorm could get a bit loud in the morning but other than that time it was perfectly quiet and peaceful. It didn't smell! Lol It's a very social hostel. Strong, fast internet

The location is great. It is very convenient, if you arrive or depart by bus or train. In addition, all touristic sights in central Galway can be easily accessible by foot, and in the vicinity are also a lot of shops and a big shopping mall. In the hostel everything was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of foods you can chose from. Furthermore, there are complimentary snacks available in the afternoon, and the fruits, lemonade, tea and coffee are also available for free throughout the day. In the hostel it is also possible to reserve daily tours for a very competitive price. All in all, everything was fine here.

The book the shower rooms and the separate toilet were too small. If you’re a big person I didn’t actually feel safe inside the shower. Thought I was going to slip over. They could do with being a little bit bigger to be honest. The shower itself was actually really easy to turn on and to adjust the temperature. There’s also separate level area within the shower bit that’s lockable because it is multi gender on the floor which is good, if you don’t like loud noises because there is a load of pubs in there area then don’t stay here because there is no

The location to Galway city and the train station is amazing. The staff were really friendly and they often do a lot of events in the hostel. I didn’t take part because I don’t drink and I was really tired. The bedroom was comfortable and the staff taking request of a bottom bunk they give you a towel which is really nice and you can rent a lot if you need to. There’s also an opportunity that if you talk to them early enough in the day they can do your washing for €10, it will probably take all day depending on how many other people want to do it.

the storage cages under the beds for bags were great for security but impossible to get into without disturbing the entire room, which made it a little hard to be a considerate roommate at times

Staff went above and beyond to help, always willing to share tips and offer guidance-- be it figuring out routes to the sights or where to satisfy a food craving. rooms were clean and comfortable and the common area was great for meeting fellow travellers-- especially over the excellent and extensive breakfast spread!
