Excellent position within walking distance of the ferry. The house was in a quiet location within easy walking distance of the best pub/restaurant on the island. On arrival there was a welcome pack including bread, milk and a bottle of wine. Our host Alison was available at all times and very friendly.

Got lost when we first arrived abit more directions to the house when you get off the ferry.

We stayed in the two bed myself partner and two children. Perfect location host was lovely, bought snacks and a few necessities for us when we arrived which was lovely. House was spotless and was in a great location. Had everything you needed for cooking, a garden and also had loads of broad games for the kids. If I go back to the Aran islands I would definitely be staying here again 🙂

We received a message saying property was ready for us, which was great as we arrived shortly after 2pm and didn't have to wait until 3pm. Aside from coffee and tea, they had provided us with milk, bread and a few treats which was a pleasant surprise.

Absolutely spotless, friendly and helpful host and accommodation was warm and dry. Lovely high quality sheets and bedding. Host also changed the pillows to allergy friendly before arrival. Location was amazing!

It was such a beautiful and peaceful stay on the island. We have everything right on our doorsteps and all necessities in the home. The owner messaged to inform of what's opened on the island while leaving a beautiful home made brown bread and treats to enjoy. A very informative guest book with all the island has to offer ! I would advise this stay to anyone travelling to the island and can't wait to book my next trip back !

Alison was so obliging. We could leave our bags at the property hours before check in which was great. She had brown bread, milk,tea and coffee and biscuits as a welcome gift. So nice. The house was ideally located and spotless. Had a great stay. Highly highly recommended.

In one room there was a very loud noise when the heating system was working.

I really liked the location - very close to the local pub and at the same time being completely private in the middle of nature. Walking everywhere is comfortable and safe. Everything was clean and well equipped. The shops on the island are not too far away, and you can also walk to the harbor with your suitcase.

The ONLY issue was the beds could have been more comfortable.

Alison, the host, is most welcoming and friendly., she even text shortly after our arrival to ensure everything was satisfactory. The accommodation is equipped with every possible amenities you could think of, comfortable beds and great shower. Its a great location, short walk from the ferry, close to the supermarket and beside joe watty’s. I would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting inishmore.

The location was great and near the village and Joe Wattys, Alison very kindly had supplied breakfast, brown bread, eggs milk , snacks and bottle of wine. Very welcoming, the house was spacious and had all the comforts of home. Can’t wait to return.

Old caravan in the garden that blocks some of the view but that’s nitpicking.

Location is perfect, down a quiet country lane with stunning views but only about 10 minutes walk from the ferry and 1 minute walk from the best pub on the island. Beds are super comfortable, the place was spotless and it had everything you needed for a few nights stay. The arrival gifts of homemade bread, milk, eggs, cookies, crisps and wine was very welcome. We had lovely weather but if it did rain the house has Netflix or a cupboard filled with board games, books, even buckets and spades for the kids. We liked it that much we are planning on returning later in the year.

Everything was exceptional for our stay! Alison was simply a wonderful host and the Chalet Home was exceptional in every way; location, comfort with plenty of room for our party of three, ease of use, and even a terrific bottle of wine and assorted snack items in the kitchen upon our arrival. This home is less than a 1-minute walk to a great restaurant/pub and only a few minutes walk to the Kilronan post office and small village center.
