Only one mirror which is fixed to bathroom wall. No access to put heating on when we wanted. It’s all set to timer. Same with hot water. Could do with some outdoor furniture to sit on, to enjoy the stunning surroundings on a warm summers evening 😉

Beds are comfy, shower is fab. The cottage is very compact but has everything you need. Perfect for a family of four.

The house wifi as well as our mobile network did not work properly and had disruptions or full stop for hours. We were/are unsure whether it was the problem of connection in that specific neighborhood or the accomodation.

We really enjoyed during our stay in this warm and modern house. Everything we needed was found in the house and Andy was a helpful host. I highly recommend the accomodation.

Everything was great, all facilities were lovely, self check in a breeze, place was spotless, beautifully modernised cottage but still old charm, nice quiet road, 10 mins drive to town!

The house was good The only thing we had was that one of the rooms was very cold I don't know if that's cause we arrived quite late and they said their room was very cold throughout the night. But otherwise all good.

It's very easy to find the place. It was handy for what we needed for the short visit. Beds were comfy and facilities were easy to use. I would definitely recommend that there's plenty of parking space available. Also the owner very good communication and answered us when we rang late on our visit and solved our issue.

use of heating and shower could be explained better , had to call host to turn on the heating . and even after being on most of the night I couldn't get hot water from the shower . only realised there was a seperate switch located beside the fridge when preparing to leave am thinking it was the imersion could be wrong . But still a nice place .

Location is a bit off the beaten track , if you are looking for peace and quiet it is in a nice area . would make for a nice peaceful rest point for visiting surrounding attractions . would definitley stay again .

Not well suited for more than four people

A lovely house in the countryside, with green fields all around. We were a family and stayed here for two days, enjoying the rural experience. The host was helpful and responsive.

We could not figure out how to turn on the heating, so the property got quite cold at night and the water was cold for the duration of our stay. Typically I would message the host to sort out how to get the heat going, but it was after midnight by the time we checked in and noticed the issue, and we left the next day.

Wonderful property. Very secluded and private. Easy to find and check into, and easy to find everything we needed around the house.

If I had to be one bit critical, the rooms could be fitted with proper wardrobe space.

There aren't many places now adays that supply you with as much turf and firelighters as you need for their lovely old fashioned range, which was so cosy at night. Not to mention there was no additional charge for the electricity. Also, I couldn't get over the fact that there was tea, coffee, sugar, toilet paper, dishwasher tablets along with shampoo & conditioner left in the house. There was a huge TV with free Netflix & WiFi, so the kids were delighted. It certainly was like a home away from home. Would definitely recommend this lovely cottage & would certainly return.

Very peaceful, beautiful countryside location. 50 mins drive to Galway city. Everything you needed in the house. Extremely comfy beds. Pet friendly and gated garden for the dog to wander around.

The house had a little bit of a smell of mustiness or smoke that could be cleared. It could also be the offgassing of the new vinyl floors.

Wonderful little bungalow perfect for our family. The children enjoyed the garden, the living room space was wonderful for visiting and the bathroom, kitchen and laundry were superb renovation.

Not sure if we caught the proprietor by surprise because we came a couple hours early but the place was not very clean. Tidy for sure, but not clean. Even the floors were muddy when we came in and our 11 m/o kept picking dirt and dust bunnys up from the floor and trying to put them in his mouth. It is also very far from anything, even groceries and hard to find the entrance especially after dark. The wifi was sketchy at best and the heat was a challenge. One room never did heat up the whole time we stayed.

Good amount of space for our little group. It was as described…”very peaceful” The proprietor was responsive when we contacted him about how cold the cottage was and he offered suggestions to fix the situation.
