Charming upscale place. But the host was the most! I’d give Ronnie a 12 out of 11 rating. He was the most hospitable host I’ve met. Helped us plan our days. Provided so many extras such as apple pie upon arrival And snack bag for our day trip.

Host is exceptional! This is a beautiful home outside of Galway. With excellent directions we were able to park free and take a short bus ride into the city center. Homemade apple pie too!

I can’t think of anything we didn’t like

We just loved this beautiful stone cottage! Absolutely spotless, beautiful,comfortable and quiet. A perfect location and an exceptional Host!! Ronnie is a “Winner!” He was so helpful in every way, from recommending wonderful restaurants to literally offering to drive us into the city to relieve the stress of us driving ourselves and finding a place to park. He really goes above and beyond what anyone would expect from a host. We would definitely return to this lovely location, Thank you Ronnie, We miss being there already

The host was amazing. The room and the house was 5 star. It's one of the best b&bs in Ireland. It's top class in every way. This is how a b&b should be run.

Nothing to improve on here! I usually like to stay in nice hotels but the room was nicer compared to some of the 4 star hotels in the area!

Location was perfect for me - a lovely, rural location and a very tranquil environment, yet only 10 minutes drive to Salthill and 10 minutes to Galway city. I loved the little boreens, stone walls and fields around the area. A glimpse into vanishing Ireland. The house was beautiful, warm and spotlessly clean. There was a lovely feel to it overall and Ronnie was the perfect host. I felt welcomed and relaxed and 'at home' instantly. You will need a car as it is in the beautiful countryside, but that was perfect for my stay.

There was nothing really that we didn't like. If I really had to nitpick, I would say the bed in the small room could probably do with a new matress

Ronnie, our host, was absolutely amazing. His local knowledge of the town and surrounding areas and his suggestions for day trips were invaluable. He really went above and beyond what we expected by packing us picnics for our day trips and even inviting us into his home for a cup of tea. The rooms have a lot of personal touches and can see a lot of effort was put into the decor. Overall, it was a very memorable stay in Galway and would definitely recommend it. Thank you Ronnie!

There was nothing not to like

Our stay at Cosy Room in a Stone Cottage was simply amazing. The accommodation itself was beautiful and spotless. It’s surrounded by beautiful Irish countryside and is a stone throw away from Galway city centre. Ronnie was so kind and attentive to our every needs; and made us feel at home from the moment we stepped inside. He gave us all the local tips a tourist could wish for. We can’t recommend our stay here enough.

There is nothing to not like.

The host Ronnie was just wonderful. He greeted us with apple pie and ice cream, helped plan our days in and out of the city, and was always there at the end of the day to check up on us. I feel like we experienced true Irish hospitality and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Galway. The actual house was beautiful, well kept, and a nice get away from the hustle and bustle of the city after long days.

Everything was great.

First of all, Ronnie was a fabulous host. He directed us to some Outstanding restaurants and even took us into Galway for our day of sightseeing. He made sure every facet of our visit was outstanding. We would definitely stay here again. The room and bathroom were very comfortable.

We didn’t eat breakfast but the host packed us some snacks and sent us suggestions through a detailed text with restaurant recommendations, etc. He showed us on a map some good areas as well. He was an excellent host.

Everything about this accom was wonderful. The room was clean, and light filled. Most especially was Ronnie’s excellent local knowledge & information which his shared readily and his charming personality. Nothing was too much trouble for him! We loved staying at this delightful home where we felt very welcome! ❤️
