As in much of Ireland, the road to get to the property is a very narrow country lane - this should not be a deterrent in any way but be advised that the locals drive fast and you’ll need to be on your toes and ready to slow down or pull over to let drivers in the opposite direction pass.

The property is absolutely lovely - spotless clean and comfortable in every way. There are two bedrooms and two baths - perfect for families or friends traveling together. It is a short drive (15-20 min) into the center of Galway and we easily explored Connemara and Kylemore from here. It’s a wonderful home base for exploring this part of Ireland. The laundry facilities are a terrific bonus and the few times we had a question the owners were very quick to respond. The lovely cows next door were an added bonus and we had some spectacular sunsets over the farm. Highly recommended!

There could be more cutlery so you don't have to wash up after one meal - but that is the only thing that comes to mind. Everything else is cared for!

The house is completely renovated inside, very clean and cosy. The beds are comfortable, bathrooms are both new and clean with good quality towels and shampoo and shower gel. The kitchen is fully equipped and even has a dish-washer. Mary gave us a very warm.welcome and goodbye and made it clear that she is always available in case we need anything.

I just wish our stay was longer! Everything was wonderful.

Mary was absolutely wonderful as a host and Conor was extremely easy to communicate with to coincide our check in time. The apartment was warm and welcoming. We were blown away by how clean and well kept the apartment was. The en-suite off the master bedroom was beautiful with everything you could need at hand and catered for. The kitchen was easy to navigate and every utensil and cooking appliance was available and in excellent condition. The apartment was cosy and extremely quiet at night so sleep was effortless. The location was easy to find on Google maps and although we didn’t get time to head off to Lough Corrib, the surrounding countryside was beautiful. We stress again that Mary was an exceptional host and a lovely woman to talk to. We got to meet her daughter also and had a great chat about the boats and similar water-based activity interests in Galway. I would highly recommend a stay in Corrib View Farmhouse - you will not be disappointed. The place is a hidden gem and every evening when we got back to it after a busy day, we both felt right at home and could breathe a sigh of relief to be able to cook, eat and relax in a beautiful apartment. It really felt like a home away from home.

The location was perfect for us. We had stayed 5 nights in the busy city of Dublin and were ready for some peace and quiet which is exactly what Corrib View Farmhouse offers while still being close to Galway city. The apartment was modern and roomy.

Nothing not too like. It would have been useful if a pint of milk was in fridge upon arrival as was the case with other places we used.

Lovely rural location. Could look out to fields and see the wildlife and cattle. Peaceful and quiet with all facilities you could need. The whole place seemed very new and was up together, good TV and internet reception if needed. Mary was there for us if needed but gave you privacy even though living in the main farmhouse adjacent.

We were staying in the self-catering accommodation linked to the farmhouse and it was in a beautiful location, a few miles outside Galway. We had all the facilities we needed, and convenient parking just outside the property. Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, and we had a lovely stay.
