We had to park across the river but it was close and inexpensive.

Our favorite stay in Ireland—an absolute gem of a guest house. The spacious, beautifully decorated rooms featured incredibly comfortable beds and charming views of swans gliding along the canal. The location was ideal: just a short walk from the old town, yet tucked away on a peaceful, quiet street. Breakfast was delicious, and we loved the charming tea room and outdoor terrace. The service was exceptional, and we felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived.

Everything couldn't have been better. The owners should be comended for the restoration of a grand building. The accomodations were great. The staff was marvellous. Breakfast couldn't have been better. Location is perfect.

The parking requires a bit of thought and attention -- as you must properly time the meters out front and in the overnight you need [or should] park at the cathedral lot a couple of hundred yards away,

Everything. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location with beautiful views. Will most certainly stay here again.

The room got quite warm at night. On arrival, parking is not clear. It would be helpful to receive a pre arrival email with instructions.

Nothing - it was all perfect!

A beautiful and charming property located steps from central Galway but on a quiet street by the river. The staff were outstanding, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect (and it was). The room was larger than expected, comfortable and clean with everything needed to have a relaxing stay. Breakfast was generous and most of all, delicous! There is no parking available on site but there are lots a couple of blocks from the hotel. Overall, a great stay.

All aspects of the room were beautiful , the only downfall is that it wasn't en suite. We had a beautiful separate bathroom which was down one flight of stairs, next time we will book an en-suite room.

A lovely room , beautiful food , very friendly, professional and accommodating staff.Beautiful location beside the Corrib River, within walking distance of all that Galway has to offer.

We didn't like that we were not told that there was no off street parking available. Also given that it is actually a tea rooms we thought that there might be a high tea available in the afternoon. Coletre thinks that the outside of the house would be brightened by a power hosing.

Liked the location. Liked the room. Food was lovely. Staff were excellent.

Rooms not made for tall people. You have to be sitting to look into a mirror. Not a huge deal but hit my head a few times on the overhang. I'm six foot one.

The staff were wonderful and that's important. Location was great and the breakfast was top notch. Beds were comfy.

well located for exploring Galway City. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. There is no carparking, but you can park in the Cathedral carpark which is just a couple of minutes walk away and very reasonably priced. A very comfortable bed and very quiet so had a good night's sleep

Lovely, historic renovated guest house in quiet location just a short walk to Galway center, train station, etc. and near a river walk that one could walk to the Spanish arch and shoreline. Staff were very helpful and kind when we needed to check in early and refrigerate medication. Breakfast was amazing - the best croissants we've had and delicious cooked breakfast with many options and served in a lovely room overlooking the river.

If only the breakfast time could be a bit earlier ~

I love the deco style, the spacious room, the nice view, the convenience of the location, and of course the extremely kind and helpful staff. The chef even came to duty early to prepare me a big Irish breakfast for my early leave. I really appreciated the hospitality!
