    Shower head leaked a bit.

It was exactly what it was advertised to be. A family room in a hostel type setting. Clean and comfortable enough for us!

    Couldn't control heater in room.

The room was budget and therefore small, but the grounds and other facilities offer plenty to do.

They didn't have any side lamp in the room which was a little frustrating.

The room was exactly what was expected.

The rooms were more for younger ppl, or families with kids, they were on the smaller side with not much space for two older ppl to move around each other to dress

This was a lovely place to stay with friendly, helpful staff. My room was small and a bit tired looking, but all of the facilities worked. I arrived by motorcycle on a very wet day but managed to dry all of my gear as the room was lovely and warm. The kitchen facilities were in good order with plenty of space, I used them to cook my evening meal before a good night's slerp.

Doing your laundry is 7,50€. I thought it must come out dried, ironed and folded but you’ll see that the dryer is 7,50€ again. If that’s too expensive for you you can always buy water for 1€/min. What a rip of!! Also I have never seen so many signs for example you get an explanation on how to do dishes while saving water. Apparently to save the environment but the there’s no way to separate trash or recycle so kind of hard to believe. If your kids play on the grass you might get kicked out.

The price was good for what you get. We found the regular 4 bed room a little small but could upgrade to a family room (with own bathroom) without any problems.

I wished the room was slightly bigger or had some space to put down bags etc, but at that price we paid, it wasn't too bad.

I liked the location... it was fairly central... and the communal kitchen and bathrooms were very clean and much-needed.

The mattress was not great, could feel all the springs! It's a bit of a walk from Cong village, pleasant during the day but a bit dark if you need to go back at night.

Good facilities (well equipped kitchen, large and nice lounge room, clean bathrooms and enough space in the showers). Small room but with everything needed

The room I was in was OK but a bit on the small side, just enough for four people. I couldn't sit on the lower bunk but had to lie down on the bed which is a bit annoying sometimes. The bunk beds seem for childrens heights. They should be changed to adult ones (height, not length I mean). There wasn't enough plug in sockets for charging, only two per room and one person was using both of them for hours to charge a power bank and phone. Since downstairs closes at a certain time, you need extra in the room.

Parking was good around the hotel. Location excellent and so near the famous Ashford castle grounds which you can walk around. Cong is a lovely location to stay in. Kitchen facilities were good at the hostel. Had a very comfortable sleep.

The bunk beds were full of old chewing gums stuc upwards. The roof window had no curtain and we could hear people speaking outside during the night though the window was closed as well as people staying in the other rooms. Among the 8 showers, only 4 were equipped with a cabin to undress and put your towel and your clothes. The last four were only showers with a curtain. I wish the tenant had accompanied us to show us the different places and had asked us if we needed to wash our clothes since it was impossible when we wanted to do so...

The kitchen and the dining room were well furnished and well equipped with electric devices.

There should be facilities in the kitchen so that guests segregate compost, recyclables and other waste. Otherwise, it's impossible to figure out the system, and not send stuff to landfill. Guests are from several countries, so it would be nice to see the signs in French and German, as well as Irish, so that the place is more welcoming.

We enjoyed our stay at this family-friendly accommodation. The kitchen is bright and airy. The atmosphere is nice. Cong Village is within walking distance,, but there is no footpath. The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful.
