Superb property for a solo traveller and great value for money

Could hear the seagulls running on the roof until about midnight and then again from 4am. IF I had used the supplied ear plugs, It wouldn't have been an issue so my bad. Two pillows provided but both were really big and found it not to my taste so would suggest getting a different sized, smaller pillow along with the bigger one so there's an option.

Exactly what you need as a solo traveller. The rooms were super clean, big enough to fit you+ bags and they really thought about using the most of the space with access to hangers and hooks for clothes. Bathroom and shower seemed like new. The bed was really comfortable. On the top floor where I was, there is no black out blind so it is bright in there, especially in Summer with the early sunrise but they provide an eye mask and earplugs (which i didn't see until the next morning unfortunately). Drinking water supplied in the room also along with toiletries.

    Nothing - everything was excellent.

Very convenient, slept well, very comfy bed. Check in was easy. I had to leave very early for work & no problem. Coffee machine available near bedrooms.

The room was very modern and clean. The location would be hard to beat in Galway. Excellent accommodation, highly recommended. Do yourself a favour and book for dinner in the restaurant too, stunning modern tapas with locally sourced ingredients. The staff were run off their feet but still managed to be very attentive and friendly.

A little noisy on the nights the restaurant downstairs open, sounds of trash cans and glass bottles being thrown away, but it ends at a reasonable time. Would definitely suggest they invest in some better pillows they are so thick and very hard, horrible for anyone's necks!

Beautiful place to stay, brilliant location. Bed was very comfortable and amenities were great.

It was just a bit loud coming from outside of the building, but if you can wear earplugs they are supplied.

This was a great guest house. Lovely selection of teas and coffee outside your room with a hot water dispenser. Added essentials of ear plugs and eye mask. It is quite noisy as we had a room on the front. Bathroom had shower gel and soap. Bathcap, nail file added in there. Ease of getting in the building and a box to leave a key when you vacate

The rooms are quite small, so with a suitcase it was snug but comfortable. It would be great if they did a breakfast option too, although we found a lovely cafe called the Gournet Food Parlour just down the road.

The hotel was well located and although it was in a busy, seaside area of Galway, the rooms were quiet and comfortable. The whole check-in, payment and check-out was very simple and the staff were really friendly.

The room was smaller than I’d realized but very, very comfy and quiet. The books and apples in the stairwell were an added treat.

I didn’t have breakfast at the Black Cat but the tapas supper I had there was ridiculously good.

The rooms are above a restaurant but through a secure door. We didn't have any noise or smells from the restaurant though. The rooms were small but very comfortable and check-in was easy. We only stayed one night so it was perfect for a quick stopover.

Almost everything was perfect, the only suggestion i have Is to make people aware that the windows are low, after one or two bumps, one learns to keep a look out, a ribbon might help?

It wasn't clear that this isn't a hotel with a proper reception and bar. It's a restaurant with some rooms, which is fine but not what I was expecting.

Cute and cosy room. Very small, but a good base for the seafront. Lovely restaurant.
