Fabulous location and the host is truly the best. This bed and breakfast is clean and cozy and the breakfast was wonderful. Noreen is incredibly knowledgeable of the region and gave us plenty of tips on things to do and when to best visit Kylemore Abbey. Couldn’t have had a better stay there. My family and I took a lovely evening walk on Ross Beach after she recommended it and it was beautiful and so fun! Just a lovely B&B in a magical setting with the nicest host you could ask for.

The place was spoteless, very clean, and is situated in a quiet, beautiful area with very nice views.

Hot/cold water mixer taps in bathroom sink and individually controllable heating would have further improved the comfort (not really a big deal).

Great hosts. Accommodated our request for a rather late check in. The room itself was nice, great views and comfortable. The hosts were very helpful in adjusting and providing a great breakfast to suit our dietary requirements. Gave many helpful tips for local excursions.

Nice quiet location yet close to everything, such as Omey Island, Cannemara NP, Sky drive. Good communication upfront, nice breakfast, lovely hosts!

Hosts were so very nice, and the full Irish breakfast was tasty! Bed was comfortable, everything was clean, including the bathroom, and there's a few tea options in the room for you :) Wish we could've stayed longer!

Phyllis is a wonderful host! Everything worked out fine for us, the charming familiy room, the hot shower after a showery day, the delicious dinner and rich breakfast. The location close to Galway provides a quiet countryside atmosphere.

I just loved our welcome, the comfort of our room and the wonderful breakfast the following morning. The situation is remarkable, with views across the lakes and the mountains. It was so good I will always return when I'm in this area again. The hostess, Noreen, is marvelous and so helpful with information of the surrounding area. A fantastic place to stay in the heart of Connemara countryside but within easy driving to Clifden. Clifden is a real gem with great live traditional music, restaurants and shopping. My only regret is that I didn't have the time to stay longer. Well done Noreen. I really hope to come back some day.

Warm welcome and our host was really helpful in advising about local amenities and places to visit. She also listened to us in order to pass on our recommendations to future guests. Our room and bed were very comfortable and we had an excellent cooked breakfast each morning. There was a comfortable lounge to sit in during the evenings.

In case you are up to discover Connemara national park - Ben Breen is really an option to stay overnight. Room was very clean, good breakfast and lovely, very helpful lady - owner. After my late arriving she told me the place I can get some dinner and even made a call there to assure I’ll be served with food.
