Bathroom needs some maintenance, it looks like a 90s renovation badly in need of a renovation but at a minimum recaulking. Ceiling drywall damage needs repair, carpets need to be steam cleaned.

Unique property that makes you feel transported back in time. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable spacious bedrooms. Loved sitting by the fire at night in the parlor (we had to ask that the fireplace be lit and they seem slightly put out to do it saying that it wasn't cold...it was quite chilly)

Not much facilities in terms of pool or spa, but that’s noted in the description of the castle already.

The interiors are amazing. The staff are very friendly (front of house not so much) and the food is outstanding.

Guided tour of the castle included. Nice walks in the woods nearby. Really good restaurant (bullock steak was great) and also the afternoon tea was an interesting experience.

getting the heat on was a bit of trouble. We enjoyed the tour and our meals. I would recommend that intime, you remove the headboards on the bed that are out of 19th century style and replace the bright yellow and bright blue club chairs in the lounge off the bar. They are out of keeping with the rest of the decor.

    Meals were well done.

Very personalized experience. All of the hotel, bar, and restaurant staff were super friendly, knew our names, and anticipated our dining needs—had a table reserved for us even before we decided to dine there.

Lack of restaurant choices. Only one area to 5pm and one for evening meal. Awoken by banging on front door at 3am and it continued for 30 minutes. Seemed like there was no night porter. Quiet upsetting thinking the people were locked out

Total relaxation. A wonderful place to reconnect and enjoy quality time together

The back garden is more utilitarian. Something more pretty to look at would be nice but it’s not a deal breaker. Some areas, like the bar, could use some dusting of the decor.

Belleek Castle was such a unique hotel. Beautifully decorated with cool quirky decor. The property is beautiful. We ate dinner at the Library Room restaurant which was delicious! Breakfast at Jack Fenn’s was amazing too. Beds were comfortable & they provided oscillating fans too. Modern bathrooms were clean & well done also.

The A/C stopped working during the day and the young girl at reception was not really helpful in getting it fixed. Fortunately we were able to open the window during the night.

The cleanliness of the room wasn't up to standard, there was items left in the room, and under the bed wasn't cleaned, cobwebs on the ceiling light and dust on the curtains around the bed. Also the shower drain could do with a good cleaning and around the edges of the floor in the bathroom. The aerial on the back of the TV, needs replacing, the TV kept losing the picture, it would have been ok, only the football final was on.

The castle is beautiful. Love the character of the hotel. We ate in the restaurant in the evening, the food is exceptional.

The shower was a bit difficult to work with very low water pressure. The room was a bit stuffy (not able to open the windows) but there was a fan which did help with the airflow.

Absolutely beautiful location and grounds, friendly staff, fantastic restaurant (dinner and breakfast), decor in the room is delightful! Well appointed, comfortable, and great size.

It’s and old house and shows it’s age, but it’s a unique place to stay.

Very unique experience! The private tour was surprisingly fun and interesting (owner very eclectic collector of Jurassic fossils and armory)! Wonderful woods with hidden fairy houses on the trees. Wonderful breakfasts and dinners. Fun stay!

I wish we could have stayed longer. Other than that, there was nothing I would change.

The staff was welcoming and helpful. We had a lovely dinner the day we arrived and then a delicious breakfast followed by a tour of the property. It was interesting, informative and fun. Loved hearing how this property became a ‘castle’ and the backstory on the decor and collections. I’ve never taken so many pictures!
