Very comfortable. Beautiful space to live in. The owners were just lovely. Highly recommend for a simple relaxing time and also a great place to do day trips from. The waterfall was amazing and only a short walk away.

Everything was great! The family who runs the guesthouse is really friendly and helped us with everything we needed. It is a bit far away from the center but with a scooter that wasn’t a problem. And it’s perfect to relax and disconnect from the city buzz.

Very nice guest house. Friendly hosts. Room good size. Bed comfortable and pillows great. Wifi good. Big bathroom. Good shower pressure. Towels great. Good aircon. Nice breakfast in morning. Room had everything. Swimming pool outside rooms. Garden well maintained. Booked one night, stayed an extra night. Just out of main Ubud, about 6 KMs. Parking for bikes,I had car so parked on road outside on grass verge. Car was safe enough.

Mangku and Sandi were awesome - creating a great friendly vibe in the place and helping me out after a difficult journey there - could not have been more helpful. The location is great - away from the busyness of Ubud, in nature, close to rice paddies and waterfalls (but shops and restaurants nearby). The guesthouse garden is a peaceful sanctuary with butterflies, fish, and playful cats. It has an infinity pool/jacuzzi, lovely to dip in after a hot day. Breakfast was always great! And drinking water available if needed. It’s a guesthouse not a resort, so ideal if you want to explore a bit and use this place as a base rather than stay there all day.

Not really about the property but it was kind of dark outside when we walk to the restaurants and stores around.

The staff were very accommodating and helpful. When our tour started very early in the morning, as well as when we need to go to the airport at 4:30AM, they packed our breakfast for us. Our rooms are always clean. The pool is open 24/7. Their place is very nice.

We loved our stay at Werkudara and getting to know the family. Sandi and Mangku are very caring and kind. Place is so beautifully maintained with lovely garden and pool. We were grateful having drinking water available so we didn't have to use bottled water for environment. We landed super late and Sandi picked us up from the airport. My son got to be friend with their son and played together. We learned wood carving from Sandi who is a skilled craftman. Most of all, I have loved getting to know Mangku and all the lovely conversations and learning about their life and Balinese culture. Loved the scooter ride to shop then cook together for dinner. 5 nights were not enough and we'd love to be back next time.

The hosts really care about you! The breakfast is made fresh and brought to your terasse, the pool is very nice. The host booked us the volcano tour and had some really helpful local hints. Also its nice that the homestay is not directly in super crowded Ubud, but you can go there by bike within a short time. It's a real retreat!

This was the best place I have ever stayed with Booking! The family is incredibly kind and takes the time with absolutely every person here to ensure everyone has a good experience. I felt at home and part of the family. Ubud is near and you can rent a scooter to drive around. Personally, I have a baby so I prefered to take a taxi.

Sandy and Monku are great host and took care of all our needs. This is a non-fancy place, however the host are caring and very jovial in nature. Expect a 5 star host. Our stay was enjoyable with kids enjoying the exclusive pool whole day. They took care of all our food requirements with a smile on their face and never said no for anything that we asked, of course you have to be reasonable on what you ask. Good peaceful rooms, Good breakfast, Good host and amazing balinese property...what more can you ask. Thank you Monku and Sandy for looking after me and my picky Indian Family :-)

It’s quite far ubud- about 30 minutes ride by car.

The owners are really nice people and helpful as well. The breakfast was delicious and landlord cleaned our rooms every day. There is also lovely kitties and dogs.

The bed was a bit hard and could have been a little more comfortable. I would have liked some tea and coffee making facilities in the common area.

The room with ensuite and adjacent pool were excellent. Having a wardrobe, cupboard space and desk was good. I enjoyed the breakfast and found the the hosts friendly and welcoming.

For people who want to escape the crowded Ubud center, this is the perfect option. The Guesthouse is beautiful, quiet and green, while the rooms themselves are very comfortable. The owners are extremely welcoming lovely people, who helped out with everything I needed.
