Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Kingdomit would be nice to offer water refills rather than new water bottles every day to reduce plastic consumption. I would’ve happily paid to refill
everything! The villa is stunning, pool beautiful, staff extremely friendly. delicious breakfast is delivered to private bungalow porch. The villa is a calm, quiet oasis away from the bustle of Ubud centre. We loved it!

United KingdomEverything was great. May I suggest a second bin in the room, rather than putting everything where the toilet paper goes?! You will hear assorted creatures during the night but don’t worry- they won’t come inside and attack you ;)
Lovely little villa. The location was great- nice and quiet, but in a nice neighbourhood close to lots of warungs, a gym and big supermarket. Great staff. Lovely bath Suggest hiring a scooter

GermanyI wish more hotel would be like this.
I was traveling with my 9 month old daughter and my wife to Villa Nini. the villa is operated by the Bliss Spa Resort and around 10 Minute footwalk away. by arrival we have realized that the villa doesn’t fit for us as young family and we talked to the manager Wayan for a change to a suite hotel room in the same price range which was no problem. the bliss spa resort is super clean and the rooms are very nice. breakfast is served everyday in the room for free by request. The staff is absolutely awesome! I have never ever felt so welcome anywhere in any hotel even much more expensive ones. The staff cooked every evening the extra baby food we brought for our daughter (for free). we had to find a supermarket to by baby stuff and Wayan escorted us by car to it (again for free). By our mistake our baby stroller was molded which we realized 2 hours before checkout and the staff cleaned it within 1 hour (again for free). there was no money making involved it was real help for us as young family. for sure if I ever go back to Ubud I will go to Bliss Spa Resort and I recommend it to everyone especially for young family’s. furthermore small ammenitys are everywhere. small flowers on the stairs, free umbrellas for rainy days, free sarungs if you visit Tempels and a shuttle to Ubud Center 3times a day.

New ZealandWe didn't like the fact you have to hand in your room key every time you leave the villa premises-- there were a few times where the receptionists were out seeing to other maintenance or were at the main Bliss Ubud hotel which meant that we had to wait around for them to return to give us back the keys to get into our room. Also, I wasn't aware that if you wish to pay for your stay with credit card, you have to go to the main Bliss Ubud hotel (about 5-10mins walk), but there is a golf cart/buggy which Bliss Ubud offer to use to shuttle you between there and the Villa, which helped.
The outdoor bathroom was well equipped and nice to use after a long day. The rice fields that line the villas are lovely to look at, and the pool area was very comfortable (no one used it at the same time as us, so it felt private). The staff were very friendly and helpful-- always trying to do what they could to ensure you had a pleasant stay. You can also WhatsApp message the reception to book in your breakfast requests, order food from their restaurant for delivery, and make any enquiries, which was very convenient for us

Spaineverything was lovely
villa Nini has beautiful independent villas which is lovely. breakfast is served every morning in your villa at your requested time. they work alongside bliss Ubud spa where you have to do the check in/out. they can take you with a mini car to one another. it is away from central Ubud so is very quiet and nice. there are free shuttles to Ubud at 10, 13 & 18 hours from bliss spa.

AustraliaThe villa is situated away from the hustle and bustle of the main area of Ubud, but also close enough to walk if you like walking (like we do) or to catch the shuttle from the nearby Bliss Spa. We had breakfast included and opted to have it bought to our villa every morning and enjoy it poolside before heading out for the day. The staff were very accommodating and you didn't really know they were there, unless you needed them for something. The pizza bar nearby does fantastic wood oven pizzas if you don't want to venture out too far for something to eat.

AustraliaWe liked everything. Just an FYI to others - Mosquitoes make it near impossible to use the outdoor kitchen, so bring spray. Cocktails and breakfast are brought over by their sister location, so order ahead :)
