All was good.

This was by far the best accommodation we had in Bali. Sideman is a wonderful area and to our opinion, way better compared to Ubud. We had a room with own pool which was great to relax. But the thing that made our stay a 10 were the details for attention by the staff. They were all very friendly and made sure all our questions were answered with a smile. The rooms were cleaned very well on a daily basis and the whole resort including the rice field look very very nice. The food from the restaurant could be ordered from the room and was very tasty every time. We would definitely recommend this place and would come back any time.

The shower placement was right next to the toilet leading it to be wet on the floor when we went to the toilet and the bedding had stains which I’m assuming were there for good - should maybe invest in new sheets however we didn’t mention it to staff and I’m sure they would have changed them had we asked (we had sleeping bag liners so didn’t see much reason to request a change)

Absolutely gorgeous in all aspects. Stayed four nights and are coming back for more after a trip to Java. Stunning views, incredible infinity pool with view of Gunung Batur. Staff out out of this world. Room tastefully furnished. Shower the best we have had. Great breakfast. I could go on.

Beautiful location overlooking the rice fields and great view of Mt Agung. Super comfy bed, friendly and attentive staff and delicious breakfast. I really enjoyed the pool.

Only a few things which could be better: please change the kettle, which can be dangerous when you carry it since you can burn yourself. Juices for breakfast are not as good as they could be, even though breakfast is pretty good.

Quiet place: Sidemen is a very peaceful village and this hotel is probably one of the best in the area. Nice restaurants nearby. Did not try the restaurant of the hotel since it was closed for maintenance. View is wonderful (rice fields,mountains & forest), nice and big enough pool. You can park your car or bike easily, if needed.

Abian Ayu hit all the high marks. Location, view, facilities, service, how much room there was between the rooms, the outdoor space was beautifully cared for, all the staff were Uber friendly and helpful. We will be back.

Initially when we realized our top floor room didn't have an Aircon we were nearly ready to leave, However the staff were super accommodating and gave us extra fans. When we spoke to others who were staying we were assured that due to location we would not require air con and there were zero Mozzies.

Beautiful off the beaten track village that we stumbled across accidentally. Booked 2 separate rooms on top of on another which was convenient. Views of the rice fields were next level and extremely contrasting. Pool was just below us which was lovely all day round at this time of year. Nice bar near the pool for cold beer and refreshments. Great place to hire scooters as the traffic is minimal and there is so much to explore.

Wi-Fi is very bad (luckily we went to relax so we didn’t really need it, but if you have to do something important online, it’s not trustworthy), many bugs in the room (again, for us not a big deal, but if you are sensitive, beware), no AC (which they state openly and they gave us an extra fan when I asked for it).

Location is amazing, breakfast very good, restaurant also very good and not too expensive. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Pool is great. Stunning view.

The location and views show you the real Bali. Located down a street with many other accomodations, there are plenty of beautiful warungs (my favourite is Lihat Sawah) within a 5 min walk. The staff are incredibly gentle, my room was authentically Bali and you really feel at peace here. I didn’t have any issues with mosquitos or ants at all, and the semi-open roof between the villas was not a problem as everyone was quiet and respectful towards others. The price is very good for value. I also attended a silver making class in a little area in the forest and the staff dropped me by scooter for a small fee ($5 AUD one way). The kindness of Sidemen locals is unlike any other.

many slate pavers around the pool were loose with sharp edges with is dangerous which good cut into the foot and dangerous for shildren

restaurant good selection of food was good sometimed hot food was served cold but staff quickly fix that but shouldn't have left the kitchen. pool was very good and clean the rooms/villas could need a upgrade in the bathroom facility.

Only negative and a very small one, is that our room didn’t have aircon.

Such a picturesque view from the property and our room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Lots of lovely Warung’s within walking distance and they offered great massage at the villa. We had an early check out so the staff packed us a breakfast box which was very kind and delicious.
