The bathroom could be a bit improved but honestly for the price there is nothing to complain about.

We had a nice stay at Uma Taman House. The staff is very friendly, we had such a warm welcome 🤗 The room was very clean, cleaning is done every 2 days without even having to ask them ! We had hot water for tea and coffee everyday. The garden and terrasse is perfect for resting.

Comfortable bed, clean room, kind and friendly stuff. When you enter the room, you can feel the fresh vibe immediately. She is an amazing, kind, helpful, pure-hearted person. We talked a little bit about Balinese culture and she shared interesting stories. The location is also great, in the Ubud center and a 20-minute walk to Yoga Barn. Even if there’s no air conditioning, the room was cool, I used a blanket :) Thank you for everything 🌞

Wow, what a beautiful place! We had an amazing time here. The owner helps you with anything you need, nothing was a problem and everything was possible! The rooms are spacious, she provides you with tea every day and it is walking distance to the center!

We were only able to stay for one night and it was lovely. The couple who run the hotel are just lovely. We felt so welcome and the place is so cosy. A very thoughtful gesture is that there was hot water and coffee in the evening and in the morning. Thank you.

My room had a small ventilation window facing the back yard - someone was smoking outside near this window all the time, so there was cigarette smell in my room. Not the fault of the property, but maybe there is something that could be done to prevent this from happening

the room on the first floor is a very good size, has a lot of light, a nice terrace, comfy bed, clean bathroom. The hotel is 5 mins from the main shopping area and the temples.

It was all more than perfect.

I liked my stay at Uma Taman House so much that I booked it again for some days later. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. I had a terrace by the fish pond and Ayu always put there hot water so that you could make tea or coffee all day long. It was so nice doing that and looking at the lovely garden. Ayu was extremely kind and I could even leave some of my stuff till my return a few days later. The homestay is also very central but still quiet and peaceful.

It was very hot, so I missed a Swimmingpool, but I know it before. That was completely fine.

I love this place. The view in the garden, the location and the staff was amazing. It is just a short walk to the Main Street and to some nice attractions. The garden was wonderful and the staff cared about everyone. Highly recommend!

Quiet and comfortable. The proprietor was very pleasant and accommodating by arranging some tours for me and she had some great recommendations for restaurants and coffee shops. There was no problem extending my stay.

Very friendly lady-owner. We had a huge plane delay and we arrived to the property around 1-2 am - there was no problem to check-in (we had a key waiting for us). Clean room, hot water in the shower, quiet at night (although it was very loud in the evening time weekdays in the building next door - it was quiet after 10 pm), very good wi-fi connection (I did some online meetings without a problem), nice balcony and view. Inside garden was beautiful (with fishes in the pond). We had a coffee/tea refiled and hot water was waiting for us every morning in the thermos in front of the room door. There is no air-conditioning but the fan did a job - it was not hot in the room and nights were enjoyable. The coffee was very good quality (if you are a coffee person like me :)) 2/3 minutes walking distance to a nice cozy breakfast place (or dinner). Walking distance to the center in Ubud.

Maybe AC rooms would have been more better

This is a neat and clean homestay without any service. So, there is no breakfast or meals but tea/coffee and sugar sachets are provided and hot water jug is given at 6.30 am. The rooms were medium sized, very clean, Non AC. The cool weather did not require an AC anyway. The location was very quiet yet walkable from the main market. In fact food outlets, Vehicle hire and grocery stores were available in the lane of the hotel itself. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and cooperative. Overall a value-for-money place
